Indoor air quality and its importance
We spend a significant time indoors. At home, in office, in restaurants, malls and various other places. This
makes the indoor air quality very important when it comes to our health and especially to our performance
in the workspace. However, microbial pollution, caused by bacteria and fungi that grow when there’s
sufficient moisture available indoors, can have an adverse effect on our respiratory systems and on
our health. They could cause illnesses like common cold, influenza or worse. Also, they could aggravate
underlying respiratory conditions like asthma.
How do our filters work?
A special anti microbial coating on the filters ensures effective initial microbial kill and also provides long
term control of microbial growth on the filters. This special anti microbial coating is free of any heavy

PM 2.5 - The risk and the resolution
Globally, air pollution is a silent killer. Every day, we are exposed to different kinds of pollutants, among which,
PM (Particulate Matter) 2.5 is the most harmful, be it outdoors or indoors. These are tiny solid particles or
liquid droplets in the air that are 2.5 microns or less in width.
In fact, PM 2.5 are so small that they end up being inhaled, travel deep into the respiratory tract, reach the
lungs and cause illnesses such as eye, nose, throat and lung irritation, coughing, sneezing, runny nose and
shortness of breath. People with breathing and heart problems, children and the elderly may be particularly
sensitive to PM 2.5.

Unique to Blue Star, Climate Control* is a fuzzy logic programme that instantly sets the desired cooling

In extreme summers, the desired temperature will ensure quick relief from heat, with faster cooling. During
summers, one can get maximum comfort with the right cooling temperature. During monsoon, Climate

iFEEL
Blue Star’s iFeel is designed to ensure desired comfort around the user. One can typically find a mix of both
hot and cold air in any air conditioned room. These pockets of air with fluctuating temperatures are what
cause discomfort or uneven cooling during peak summers.
Simply put, when one runs a traditional air conditioner, the device cools the immediate vicinity around it.
Traditional air conditioners are fitted with a single sensor on the unit that registers the temperature up to a
limited area, leaving one devoid of cooling comfort if one is in a large room.
iFeel features advanced and inbuilt sensors in the remote controller that ensure the air conditioner senses
and detects the temperature around the user. This adjusts and sets the actual, desired or preset temperature
around the user and can be activated by the push of a button.

conditions, and deliver comfortable cooling even at 52°C.
The 2-row coil condensers* in Blue Star Air Conditioner outdoor units are 100% copper, precisely designed to
ensure maximum efficiency of the cooling system. The heat exchanger compartment systems are designed
to ensure uniform airflow without any obstruction, thereby ensuring highly efficient heat exchange, resulting
in higher efficiency.
The copper tubes are inner-grooved for high heat transfer, enabling them to deliver fast cooling even in
extreme ambient conditions of 43°C and above.
