COURSE GUIDE:

This course guide is prepared to help you adjust to the now normal virtual
learning. Here are some tips for you to follow:

1. Create a To-Do-List. Manage your time properly. Make sure to create a to-do-
list of your tasks and assignments for all the courses you have enrolled to. Use
the Google Calendar to plot your schedules and make sure to hit the alarm
button on the settings. Balance your leisure time and study time well.

2. Use your resources wisely. With the tablet that you are provided with, make
sure that you will use it wisely and carefully. Avoid dropping the tablet and
breaking it. However, the power of knowledge is now at your hands. Do your
research in a reliable site.
3. Read. In this evolution of learning, the teacher is not anymore your source of
information, but is now only your facilitator. Make sure to read in advance. Do
your thorough research on the topic by clicking the links provided for you or
you could research more if you want.
4. Do not plagiarize. With the advent of technology and your access to the
internet, you may be tempted to copy contents which are not yours for your
task. Always remember that plagiarism is a crime. Make sure you cite your
resources well. However, your outputs will be checked with a plagiarism
checker.
5. Submit your task on time. Deadlines are set to maximize learning. Make
sure to follow them to avoid point deductions. Activities will be submitted
through MS TEAMS.
6. Focus. There is a time to play and a time to study. With the variety of
temptations present on different social media sites, it might be difficult for you
to focus. Avoid opening tabs (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, etc.) during classes
because it might distract you.
7. Work Independently. With the advent of blended learning, there may be
times for self-paced learning. You might have difficulty in adjusting to this new
practice. So, make sure you follow what is stipulated in this module.
8. Work in balance. Amidst the clogged schedule of your classes, don’t forget
your “me” time. Give space to your schedule for workouts, yoga, meditations
and don’t forget to get yourself a break. It is also better to sleep early and
wake up early. Eat healthy foods. Be free from everyday stress.
9. Contact Me. Contact your instructors if you have concerns or questions with
the lesson or topic. In cases of difficulties, you can always reach your
instructor via emails or PMs in messenger. You mental health is also our
concern.
