Pattern Fox Floris
Material Used stitches
Approx 100 grams Coton for the body, the head, ch = chain
the ears and the legs sl.st = slip stitch
Approx 30 grams for the muzzle, the body and sc = single crochet
the top of the tail sc2tog = single crochet two stitches
Approx 20 grams for the bottom of the legs together
A little bit of Coton for the nose
2,5 mm crochet hook
8 mm black safety eyes
Synthetic filling
This is a basic pattern. You can make stripes at your discretion.
Crochet for example the bottom part of the body and the tail with stripes.
It is also very nice to crochet the fox in one color.
Just vary and you can make another fox each time!
BODY
Crochet 2ch
1. 6sc in the last chain from the hook
2. 2sc in each sc, repeat (12sc)
3. 1sc, 2sc in the next sc, repeat (18sc)
13-27. 72sc (15 rows)
28. 10sc, sc2tog, repeat (66sc)
29-30. 66sc
32-33. 60sc
35-36. 54sc
Change color!

Stuff the body.
The top remains open!
HEAD
You start at the front of the head with the nose.
Crochet 2ch

Change color for the muzzle!
8-9. 24sc

Change color for the head!
25-32. 66sc (8 rows)
34. 60sc
36. 54sc
38. 48sc
Place the eyes between row 20 and row 21 with 7sc between space.

Stuff the head.
Stuff the head further on.
47. sc2tog, repeat (6sc)
Close the head.
Sew the head on the body. Stuff the neck more while you are sewing!
EAR (MAKE 2)
Crochet 2ch

9-12. 27sc
14. 24sc
15. 2v, sc2tog, repeat (18sc)
Fold the ear and close with 9sc.
Inside the ear (make 2):
Crochet in a different color!
Crochet 2ch
Close with a sl.st.
Sew the inside in the ear (see photo).
Sew the ears between row 31 and row 32 with 9sc between space on the head (see photo).

FRONT LEG (MAKE 2)
Crochet 2ch
6-9. 27sc
11. 24sc
13. 18sc
15-24. 15sc (10 rows)
Change color!
25-54. 15sc (28 rows)
Stuff the front leg.
Close the front leg with 7sc.
Sew the front legs between row 54 and row 55 on both sides of the body (see photo on the
next page).
BACK LEG (MAKE 2)
Crochet 2ch

7-10. 36sc
12. 33sc
14. 30sc
16. 24sc
18-25. 18sc (8 rows)
Change color!
26-43. 18sc (18 rows)
Stuff the back leg.
Close the back leg with 9sc.
Sew the back legs on the bottom of the body (see photo).

TAIL
Crochet 2ch
13-14. 39sc
Change color!
15-17. 39sc
19. 36sc
21. 33sc
23. 30sc
25-26. 27sc
28-29. 24sc

31-32. 21sc

Stuff only the botom of the tail .
Close the tail with 6sc.
Sew the tail between row 12 and row 13 on the backside of the body (see photo).
