I. RATIONALE
According to the proclamation no. 241, S. 1993, declaring the third week of
September of every year as the “Linggo ng kasuotang Pilipino” where as there is a
need to project the unique Filipino identity and to create a sense of pride in being a
Filipino; and it is necessary to show the importance of the Filipino attire in order to
give due recognition to Filipino heritage and culture. The Department of Tourism
shall be the lead agency in the implementation of this Proclamation. It shall,
accordingly, coordinate with the appropriate departments and government agencies,
as well as non-governmental organizations, for the successful implementation of this
Proclamation.
Infanta National High School abreast with the proclamation to carry out the
goal of it and be part of creating the sense of pride in being Filipino. This year's
celebration, Special Program in the Arts will spearhead the activity.

II. OBJECTIVES
a. project the unique Filipino identity and to create a sense of pride in being a
Filipino inside and outside the school community.
b. share the best practices among the teachers in wearing Filipiniana
c. inculcate to each and every teacher the importance of carrying the pride of
being Filipino by wearing “ Kasuotang Pilipino”
