    AIM SOLDER AND REL22™ & REL61™ ALLOYS

    AIM Solder is a leading global manufacturer of solder assembly materials for the electronics

    of the global automotive marketplace.

    REL22 has been engineered for automotive powertrain, high power,


    underhood and other high thermal/mechanical stress applications. REL22
    exhibits a stable metallic grain structure and low intermetallic growth after
    thermal ageing. When combined with AIM’s M8, REL22 reduces common
    production and quality issues seen with other high-reliability alloys,
    including BTC voiding and solder irregularities.

    REL61 is a low silver, cost-efficient alloy offering performance equal to


    or better than SAC305. REL61 exhibits superior spread, flow and wetting
    versus other no/low silver alloys. REL61 improves AOI inspection due to
    its uniform luster. REL61 is extremely cost-competitive to SAC305 and
    outperforms other low/no silver alloys providing increased durability,
    improved in-process performance and lower processing temperatures.

    REL22 & REL61 alloys are available in bar solder, wire solder and solder paste.
