First and foremost, I would like to thank everybody for working with this Virtual Regional Skills
Enhancement Training for EPP, TVL, and TLE Teachers.
To our Regional Director Dr. Ma. Gemma M. Ledesma, to our Schools Division Superintendent Ma.
Teresa M. Real, to the organizers and members of this webinar headed by Dr. Elizabeth Bautista, to our
TVL and TLE Education Program Supervisor Dr. Dennis Floria, to our amazing facilitator in Industrial Arts
Mr. Carlo S. Revilla, to my co-trainees, ladies and gentlemen, good morning!
The impression is being defined as, the impression of a person or thing is what you think they are like,
usually after having seen or heard them for this afternoon impression, I am tasked to share on behalf of
the Industrial Arts Group.
We are all blessed and dignified to have this advanced skills enhancement webinar. We just want to
share our point of impression to this plenary, the DepEd particularly in the senior high school curriculum
envisions our students to choose the various doors of a career which are Kolehiyo, Trabahu, TESDA skills,
or Negosyo, and thus requires our students to be equipped with the knowledge, hard skills, and soft
skills. But how are we going to equip our learners if the teacher is also lacking skills? Through this
webinar, teachers will be able to enhance his or her capacity in practical skills. Because I truly believe
that, when a teacher advances, the learners will also be advanced.
The webinar was well organized in terms of structure, time frames, and contents. From the start to the
end, it went smoothly. The activities were informative, relevant, and useful.
This 5-day enhancement skills training caters to our needs in reviewing our prior knowledge and
advancing our practical skills. It is also a good point that this training has been held in a virtual setup.
Even though we have faced several problems like erratic internet connections and lagged laptops, and
phones, we are still learning and meeting the expectations. Finally, we are able to finish this training
with vigor and enthusiasm.
When we knew that the topic in the Industrial Arts is about Motor Control, we were very interested and
excited since this is new to us as Technology practitioners. We were also very attentive and participative
because we really want to learn new knowledge in our specialization and by that our learners also
deserve to learn these new skills.
It was an interesting webinar that fully met our expectations. The trainer had an excellent ability to
communicate the subjects. The training course was delivered with professionalism, knowledge, and
expertise. The webinar was very interactive, practical, helpful, and entertaining too, enabling us to
achieve the learning objectives. We were impressed by the skills and knowledge of the trainer: he really
masters his subject! The five-day seminar has been helpful and inspiring. It combined very high levels of
professionalism with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. One of its strongest points is the existing
platform that allows us to work at our own pace. We were able to learn motor controls system,
diagraming, and installation. We have learned the practical purpose of motor control and how it works.
We were also able to demonstrate our learned skills through Google Meet via live camera. It was fun
and knowledgeable.
Since the 21st century requires advanced and modern skills. I highly suggest and recommend that the
DepEd Caraga Region will continue the endeavor of helping educators to develop professionally,
especially in TVL, TLE, and EPP since it deals with technical skills, and I think it is essential to consider
that educators in technology also need enhancement in terms of pedagogy and skills.
This training is not just an avenue for more learning but also a venue to gain new friends and strengthen
the bond with our co-participants, especially with the other divisions. This training has come to end but
the learnings are never-ending. Added knowledge, skills, and a passion for teaching will surely maximize
our potential as educators as we are the important people to fill the gap in knowledge and hone the
skills of our students so that they will become ready in facing real-world applications.
To the organizers and facilitators of this 5-day training, thank you so much. I hope that you will continue
helping us to be the best among the rest, not just during training but every time that we feel that we
need you and every time you feel that there is a need for us to be helped by you.
And to my co-participants, thank you so much for your cooperation in making this training a success!
To everyone, CONGRATULATIONS for a job well done, and may we enjoy the rest of our school break!
