    CAPACITY BUILDING ON PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST ADMINISTRATION AND


    LAUNCHING OF GALAW PILIPINAS OF TAGO I AND II MAPEH TEACHERS
    AND NON-MAJOR TEACHERS HANDLING MAPEH IN ELEMENTARY AND
    SECONDARY LEVEL

    This District

    1. The Division of Surigao del Sur particularly MAPEH subject area will conduct
    Physical Fitness Test Administration and Galaw Pilipinas to all District and
    Schools simultaneously on August 15-17, 2022 at Tago New Municipal
    Gymnasium.
    2. Each school must have 2 participants from Elementary (handling MAPEH in
    Grade 4-6), 2 participants from Junior High School and 2 participants from
    Senior High School.
    3. Participants to this activity are the Regional and Division trained Physical
    Fitness Test Teachers of this municipality and select Elementary and
    Secondary MAPEH Teachers and Non-MAPEH majors teaching the subject.
    4. This Training aims to:
    a.) Demonstrate the proper execution of Physical Fitness Test and Galaw
    Pilipinas steps/movements;
    b.) Strengthen the implementation of Physical fitness Test and Galaw
    Pilipinas Calisthenic Exercise to school learners, teachers and the entire
    DepEd Community; and

    c.) Ensure that teachers in MAPEH are trained before the opening of classes
    as pre-requisite in the first week competencies of the Physical Education
    component.
    5. This is a live out Training for three (3) days.
    6. Travelling expenses and other incidental expenses are chargeable to the
    School MOOE/Local Funds.
    7. During actual training, Participants must bring jogging pants, shorts, rubber
    shoes or any sportswear appropriate for the training.
    8. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is highly desired.
