CHAPTER IV

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

Personal Related to Work

The trainee faced different problems during the duration of the On-The-

Job-Training. First, was the uncomfortable feelings on the first day brought about by the

new faces and environment. Second, the difficulty of associating with workmates.

However, as the day went by, things became made easy because of adjustment. For it is

just normal to feel uneasy to new atmosphere.

Work

During the days of his training, he tried to familiarize with the transactions in the

company. But committing mistakes is unavoidable. He remember one time that he

committed a mistake. They did not blame him instead they taught him how to do the task

correctly. The reality is “the more mistakes the more learnings” for there is always

learning opportunity to every mistake done. In the near future, the learnings will be

applied.

Workmates

Workmates have either positive or negative influence. When he stayed at the ISU

AUTO-CARE workplace, he met employees with different attitudes or behavior. But

then he realized that the situation has positive influence on his life as worker in

preparation for the bigger and complex work ahead.

23

Supervisor

It is the responsibility of teacher to utilize available resources to train, and

to develop the skills of their employees.

His superior made him realize the significance of working especially the reality of

his chosen field. It was overwhelming for him as their trainees. They helped him in

everything about the given task. The training would not be completed and successful

without their full support and guidance.

24
