    Building 3D Shapes
    Book Assembly:
    - Print the pages back to back and then staple along
    the left side.
    - Cut the pages in half, creating 2 books per printed
    set.
    Activity Prep:
    - Give each student a stack of toothpicks and a
    container of clay or playdough.
    - Give each student a copy of the 3D Shapes book.
    Building Activity :
    - Students will use their toothpicks and clay/dough to
    create the 3D shapes in their book.
    - After building each shape, students will count the
    edges, vertices and faces.
    - Students will record their findings in their book.
    - On the last page, students can explore and build
    their own shape.
