1.0 Executive Summary

1.1 Objectives

Our main objectives will be : all types of hairdressing services (hair cutting, hair coloring,
all sorts of hair styles, waxing (cold, worm), nail extension, making nails, various facial
treatments, solarium, later we will provide our customers with all sorts of tattoos,
permanent make-up, also we will sell beauty products.

1.2 Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality service to all our customers with acceptable price,
also there are no other salons in our neighborhood so we can make this service
available to all ages and low price of our services with what divides us from our
competition. Our advantage is that we are planning business with reduced costs.

Location: providing and easily accessible location for customers


Environment: providing an environment conducive to giving relaxing and professional
service.
Convenience: offering clients a wide range of service in one setting and extended
business hours.
Reputation: reputation of the owner and other “Beauticians“, as providing superior
personal service.

Company ownership are device for hot waxing, device for cold waxing, sterilizer,
shampooing bowl, cosmetic magnifying, device for pedicure and manicure, hair dryer,
neon lights, chairs, fiscal cash registers, shelves.

The salon will be located in Serbia, Negotin, Knez Mihajlova street nr. 12. The salon will
utilize 80 square meters. The location is strategically situated on one of the busiest
streets in the town. It is a high profile area, with easy access from all parts of town.

Trend Setters is considered and upscale full service beauty salon. We will offer a wide
range of services that include:

• Hair: cuts, relaxers, perms, colors, shampoo, conditioning, curling,


reconstructing, weaving, waving
• Nails: pedicures, manicures, polish, sculptured nails
• Skin care: European facials, body waxing, massage

4.1 Market Needs

There is a big need for salon of this type in our town so we can provide high quality
service to our customers. There are few salons in our town but they can’t provide service
that is needed.

We will be Trend Setters and we will provide only newest and highest quality products
that occurred in market.

4.3 Market Growth

With quality of our work and satisfied customers we will make our market bigger every
day.

4.4 Main Competitors (good and bad sides)

• Hair salon “Madonna” : quality, professionalism, high prices

• Hair salon “Figaro” : experience, bad relationship with customers

• Cosmetic salon “Paris” : extra low prices, bad quality of service

5.0 Strategy and Implementation Summary

5.1 Marketing Strategy (target market and positioning)

Our marketing strategy is a simple one, satisfied clients are our best marketing tool.
When a client leaves our salon with a new look he or she is broadcasting our name and
quality to public. Most of our clients will be referrals from existing clients.
5.2 Pricing Strategy

Our prices will be acceptable to all and we will make some financial facilities such is
paying from the pay role, delayed paying.

5.3 Promotion Strategy

We will promote our firm with advertising in TV and radio broadcasters in our town. Also
we have calendars, visit cards, etc.

5.4 Distribution Patterns

Our main distributers are:

• “RDB” - firm for service of cosmetic equipment

• “Le Co” – sellers of hair salons and cosmetic salon devices

• “Afrodita” - cosmetic house which sells and makes preparations for hair, face and
body

6.0 Management Summary

6.1 Organizational Structure

Trend Setters will be organized and managed in a creative and innovative fashion to
generate very high levels of customer satisfaction and to create a working climate
conducive to a high degree of personal development and economic satisfaction for
employees. Training classes to help improve employee product knowledge and skills will
be conducted on a regular basis. As the business grows, the company will consider
offering and employee benefit package to include health and vacation benefits for
everyone.

6.2 Management Team

There will be two hair stylists, one barber, one nail technician, one facialist and a
massage therapist.
6.3 Personnel Plan

Everyone will be contract workers ad will be paid a sliding commission scale based on
the amount of revenue created.

7.0 Financial Plan

7.1 Projected Start up costs

For the finalization of our project we will need 240 000 RSD.
