    Weaknesses

     Lack of Personnel or Manpower

    Employees are known to be as one of the assets of every company. It is


    like the lifeblood of an organization, without them the business will not
    function or make any development.

    One thing that we’ve observed that the company lacks is their number of
    personnel. As we attend our training every day, we observed that the PDMC’s
    manpower is only limited. As we take a look into their organizational chart
    given above, there are still some vacancies that are available and some of
    which are very critical and very important to have for the daily operation of
    their company. Because when a certain company lacks personnel, it will
    cause a domino effect on the company’s operation and it will slow down the
    progress of its production. Also, those available employees will overwork their
    selves and there is a high probability that the quality of the product will be
    compromised. PDMC should make sure that they have a complete number of
    personnel especially when peak season arises.

     Poor Marketing Strategy

    Nowadays, excellent marketing strategy is one of the most important and


    critical factor that a certain company must have. It is one of the keys for a
    business to be known by everyone, not just locally, but also internationally.
    Another, excellent marketing strategy will definitely boost your business up to
    the highest level until it will become stable and established.

    With that being said, during our training at PDMC, we observed that the
    company have weak or poor marketing strategies. The only thing that they
    have as a platform to promote their business is their official website and their
    Facebook page.

    Yes, we can say that both of them are useful nowadays especially
    Facebook, but when we are talking about the “business world”, they are not
    enough to promote your organization and be the company who stands-out to
    all your competitors. Also, we observed that the company is not maximizing
    their available resources in promoting their products to their other prospective
    clients, we think that PDMC can do much better and will surely have a wider
    range of market if they will use their resources properly.

     Poor Time Management

    In a business, “time management” is one of the most precious things that


    you must consider and give importance to. It is one of the drivers that will
    bring sales and profits to the company because it's no secret that effective
    time management is essential for success, no matter who you are or what
    you do. Additionally, for busy companies, time management is vital so that
    they can prioritize all of their job responsibilities and reach their objectives
    more quickly, also, you'll be able to take on new possibilities and build your
    business in a sustainable manner.

    With that being said, during our internship, we observed that PDMC lacks
    in time management. There are some instances wherein they were not able
    to comply with their targets and objectives in a certain time period. Example
    of this is when we monitored the loading of shipments, supposedly, the
    loading must be finished at around 3pm and the truck should depart from the
    company around that time, but one of the warehousemen said that some of
    the products are still on the process of manufacturing, as a result, the truck
    wasn’t able to depart from the company and arrive at the destination at the
    right time. This will cause a big impact on the company’s operation since
    there was a delay that took place.
