Target

Dancing is what we always needed specially in this time of pandemic. It is


rejuvenating and strengthens the relationship between the participants of the
activity. It is physically and mentally healthy for everyone. Some people who are not
interested exercises, gyms and sports can be more attentive on dancing.

From the previous lesson, you have been informed and you understood the
proper etiquette and safety use of facilities and equipment while doing physical
activities.

After going through this learning material, you are expected to:
1. Participate in an organized event that addresses health/fitness issues
and concerns. (PEH12FH-Ik-o-13)
2. Organize fitness event for a target health issue or concern (PEH12FH-Io-
t-17)

Activity 1: Matchy, match me!


Directions: Match the description from Column A to its correct type of dance in
column B. Write the letter of the correct answer. (5 points)

They say that people who are physically active and usually participate in
different activities are the healthiest people. This shows that stress, anxiety and
depression is reduced especially when people participate with their families and
love ones.

Steps in Organizing a Fitness Event

Planning and organizing a fitness event is not an easy task. The important
thing is that you need to focus on the health or fitness issues that will be
addressed on the event, your goal in this event and always be mindful on the
conditions or request that will be laid by the participants. Research everything that
you need on this fitness event. Always ask for help and don’t work alone.

Why is it so important to participate in a Fitness event?

 It will make you more energetic and happier.


 It strengthens the relationship or bond between your family or
colleagues.
 It builds strong body and good physic.
 It decreases chance of having an illness or disease.
 It rejuvenates your emotional and mental health.
 It boosts confidence.
 It reduces stress, anxiety and depression.
 It eliminates boredom.

Directions: With your family, participate in the Ultimate TikTok Dance Challenge
that you have planned and organized from the previous part of this
learning material. Create a video presentation for this event and send
it to your subject teacher.

General mechanics of the event:


 Prepare everything needed before you start recording the event.
 The learner must be involved in all TikTok Dance Challenges.
 You may also wear costumes as long as it is appropriate and
pleasing to look at.
 You can use any alternative materials if the required ones are not
available.
 The video should not exceed to 3 minutes.
 Observe health protocols at all times.
