ARC – 2108 GED 107- ETHICS

Who Am I?

Who am I? This is a question that keeps bothering us at times. Isn’t it? We want
to know what we are and what are abilities or qualities that make us unique from others.
Before someone asks about us, they must have a thorough idea of who we are and how
the things that we do differ from others. The reason is that when such questions are
prompted, we must be able to speak freely about ourselves without fear of being
judged. Most of the time, we only say a few words about ourselves, such as our name,
class, or place that we belong to. However, there are some people who might be
interested in knowing more about us than the brief introduction. It can include our likes,
dislikes, passions, goals, or even our dreams. Therefore, we need to analyze ourselves
and come up with things that we are good at. In this particular who am I essay; we have
to speak about ourselves and the things that we like to do and now let me share who am I
and the several roles as a human.

While growing up I have realized that I am an individual but I play several roles
throughout the day. As per these roles, my behavior and attitude keep altering. This
variation adds various shades in my personality. First, I believe that I am a child and
daughter of our Heavenly Father. I know he loves me. Because of my knowledge of this
spiritual and sacred identity, love, peace and happiness flood inside me. I’m grateful for
His glorious creations. Next, is in our home, I am a daughter. I tried to listen and follow
what my parents taught me. I get lots of love, care, and attention from my parents.  I also
care, love, and respect them. My parents are my first identity in this community. Then, I am
a sister. I have an elder brother and three younger siblings. My brother takes care of me
and guides me to follow the path to success. My siblings are also my friends. We spend
quality time together playing, laughing at jokes together, and watching our favorite movies
and series. The love, care, and fight, makea a beautiful bond between us. After that, I am
a student. Our professors always try to guide us to realize our path of life. They want us to
be sincere in studies and build a successful career. They also instill us the values of a
good human being. I tried to be a sincere and obedient student and always do my best in
studies. Lastly, the role that we all love, being a friend. I have few friends. I love spending
time with them, because for me, having a few real friends is better than having a lot of
them who is insincere about their feelings towards me.

In conclusion, we can say that life is full of experiences. We meet new people and
encounter new situations every day. In this course of life, we are not only get to know other
individuals during our lives, but we also get to know ourselves in various ways. Our likes
and dislikes vary as we get older. With time and experience, our perspective and outlook
on life change as well. As a result, discovering the answer to the question of who I am is a
lifelong process.
