1. Safety information
Before exposure
• Be sure to check the equipment daily and confirm that it works properly.
• Sudden heating of the room in cold areas will cause condensation to form on the equipment. In this
case, wait until the condensation evaporates before performing an exposure. If the equipment is
used while condensation is formed on it, problems may occur in the quality of captured images.
When an air-conditioner is used, be sure to raise/lower the temperature gradually so that a
difference in temperature in the room and in the equipment does not occur, to prevent
condensation.
• Be sure to keep the detector 15 cm or more away from the power box.
During exposure
• Perform exposure after checking that the exposure conditions are optimally suited to the
equipment. The sensitivity of the sensor differs depending on the product. This is also different from
the CXDI-501G.
• Before performing an exposure, be sure to confirm that the patient name and patient ID are
identical to the ones shown in the patient information pane on the CXDI Control Software screen.
• Adjust the patient’s posture and instruct the patient not to move during exposure. If necessary,
provide support so that the patient can maintain the posture.
Cleaning
• Use a neutral detergent to clean the covers of the equipment. Do not use alcohol, paint thinners,
benzine or other solvents to wipe the covers since these solvents will corrode the external coating
of the covers.
Calibration
• Perform Calibration when exposure conditions have changed significantly. For details, refer to the
Setup Guide for the CXDI Control Software.
Operating/storage environment
• Be sure to store the detector and the grid unit (sold separately) in a safe place where it will not fall or
