    Create Virtual Machine


    Create new virtual machine from file-
    After next we get the vm wizard for typical/custom setting with-we will select typical now

    Select typical & next:


    We will install windows server later & next-

    Now we will select Microsoft Windows Server 16 & next-


    & we named our virtual server name & set the location path ot install-

    Now we will set the storage capacity of our virtual server machine as 60Gb and file format- & next-
    Now we will summarize our selection of virtual server machine and click to finish

    Install Windows Server 2016


    After creating our virtual server machine for windows 16 we will customize our hardware to install
    windows server in our VMware workstation.
    Memory-2GB
    Processor-1 & core 2
    Network adapter as vmnet1 as bridge
    And we will create another adapter as vmnet8 as host only
    After that we will set the windows server installation file disk CD/DVD location
    Then OK.

    Windows server 2016 CD/DVD location path where from we will install
    Network adapter 1 will be as bridge connection

    Now we will add another adapter with configuration as HostOnly.


    Choose Host Only Network Adapter2

    Now Done with finish


    Then our virtual server machine 2016 is ready to install & run

    Power the virtual Machine or Click Start


    Press any key to boot from CD or DVD
    Press Enter to start Windows Server 16 Installation

    Select locale Language & next


    Click Install Now

    Accept Installation License & next


    Click Custom Install Windows Only & next

    We will not make any partition here & next


    Installation Started

    Virtual Server 16 is preparing to restart to continue the installation process


    Windows Server Installing .

    Windows Server Administrator Username & Password set up


    Now windows server 16 installed

    Login as administrator with password


    Windows Server Installed & Server Manager Opening

    Server manager dashboard


    Now we will create our desktop icon from personalize

    theme
    Desktop icon setting

    Select desktop icons all


    Now shortcut icon created

    Now got to my computer or this PC and DVD Device right click to install VM from DVD To pc
    Now installed successfully

    Right click & install


    Next

    Select typical & next


    Ready to install & click to install

    Installed successfully & close


    Now click finish

    Now see at notifications: promote this server to domain controller


    Deployment configure: for domain name

    Add a new forest /domain name as dedar.local:


    DSRM password writting:

    Additional categories: where domain name dedar will be shown in box

    Next: file will be stored in that destinations

    Installed & restart then login to dedar.local server administration with password

    Now server manager will show the AD DS as installed feature:


    AD DS directory where installed:
    Server manager which was installed before
    Install Windows 7 as Client PC
    Create a new virtual machine to make a windows 7 client pc to connect with server 16

    Select typically & next:

    Next & select “i will install apearing “ & next


    Select microsoft windows & windows 7 x64 & next:

    Client pc name & location of installation directory:


    Set disk capacity 60GB & next:

    Set the iso file to installation of windows 7 & next


    Now the pc client has been created:

    Now run the client pc to configure:


    Pc started:
    Set all & next:

    Install windows7

    Windows 7 professional 64 bit


    Accept & next:

    Select custom
    Next & no partition:

    Windows 7 installation process is on going


    Set the user name of client pc

    Set client pc password & next:


    Network setting:

    Installation of windows 7 successful & set the desktop icon from personalizatons
    Select the icons:

    Now done of installation of client pc
