Intake tank = 1 tank
Flowrate = 8 m3/s
Detention time = 20 minutes
Depth =3m

Volume = Q x Td
= 8 m3/s x 20 minutes x 60 seconds/minutes
Volume = 9,600 m3

Surface area = Volume / height


= 9,600 m3 / 3 m
Surface area = 3,200 m2
Dimension = assume L = 2W
