ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION INTO

1st YEAR INTERMEDIATE (MPC) (STATE SYLLABUS) WITH INTEGRATED


COACHING & TRAINING FOR NDA / SSB
AND
6TH CLASS WITH CBSE SYLLABUS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23

Eligibility:

All the students (Boys) in Telangana who are appearing for SSC March, 2022 Public
Examinations from Govt. Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt.
Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, Aided Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for
admission into 1st year Intermediate (MPC) with state syllabus.

All the students (Boys) in Telangana who are appearing for 5th class in April, 2022
Examinations from Govt. Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt.
Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, Aided Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for
admission into 6th class with CBSE syllabus.

The Entrance Test will be in objective type. Only the meritorious students from the entrance
test are permitted to attend Physical Screening Test at 1:3 ratio. After Physical Screening Test, the
selected students will get admission into 6th class (CBSE) / 1st year Intermediate (MPC) (state
syllabus) with integrated coaching & training for NDA / SSB along with all benefits which are
extended by TS Gurukulam, such as free boarding, lodging, uniform, note books & text books,
bedding material and examination fee etc.

1) They should also pass 5th class / SSC in 1st attempt in April / March-2022.

2) Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test
and the question paper will be in English only.

3) Parental Income for the year 2021-22 financial year should not exceed Rupees Two Lakh
per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the Government guidelines at the time
of admissions.

4) Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like, Caste, Income, Aadhaar
Card, Marks Memo, Study Certificate, T.C., Medical Fitness Certificate (from not less than
Assistant Civil Surgeon), (06) Individual passport size photos and four photos of parents /
guardians at the time of admission.
5) The Entrance Test for 1st year Intermediate (MPC) will consist of Multiple Choice
Questions for 100 marks. English (20 marks), Mathematics (40 marks), Physics (20 marks),
Chemistry (15 marks) and Biological Science (5 marks). Each question carries one mark.
For wrong answers one fourth marks would be deducted.

6) The question paper will be prepared from the basics of VIII to X classes (state syllabus)
(English and given optional subjects).

7) The Entrance Test for 6th class will consist of Multiple Choice Questions for 100 marks.
Telugu (20), English (30 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), Science (10 marks) and Social
Studies (10 marks).Each question carries one mark. For wrong answers one fourth marks
would be deducted.

8) The question paper will be prepared from the basics of 5th class (state syllabus) (Telugu,
English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies).

Note: Any vacancies of OC, BC, SC, Minority, Gurukulam Employees Quota, Sports Quota and
Vacancies in ST Sub-tribes will be filled up by ST students only as per General ST merit.

Age Limit, Sex and Marital Status:

For 1st year Intermediate (MPC):

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 1 st April, 2005 and not later than 31st March,
2007 as on 31st March 2022 are eligible.

For 6th Class:

Only boys born not earlier than 1 stApril, 2010 and not later than 31st March, 2012 as on 31st March
2022 are eligible.

The date of birth accepted by the Society is that which is entered in the Matriculation or
Secondary School Leaving Certificate. These certificates are required to be submitted only after
the declaration of the result of the written part of the examination. No other document relating
to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records
and the like will be accepted. The expression Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination
Certificate in this part of the instruction includes the alternative certificates mentioned above.
NOTE 1: Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in 5th class record
sheet (or) Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate available or an equivalent
certificate on the date of submission of applications will be accepted.

NOTE 2: Candidates should also note that once date of birth has been claimed by them and
entered in the records for the purpose of admission to an Examination, no change will be
allowed subsequently or at any subsequent examination on any ground whatsoever.

Submission of Application Form through ONLINE:

1. The applicant should submit his application through ONLINE visiting website
www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in

2. Registration fee for submission of application through ONLINE is Rs.200/-


(Rupees two hundred only)

3. Before filling the application through online the candidates are advised to read the
information uploaded in the website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in

4. Less than 100 kb pass port size photo and less than 50 kb signature of the student has
to be uploaded.

5. The Candidates are advised to download the Hall-tickets from 1st March 2022 from
the Gurukulam website. The same has to be certified by the Principal / Head Master,
where the candidate is studying.

6. Candidates are advised to get Aadhaar details updated as latest Aadhaar Card is to be
produced for physical tests.

2. Only the meritorious students in the ratio of 1:3 from the Entrance Test will be
permitted to attend Physical Fitness Test.

3. The list of eligible candidates for Physical Fitness Test will be uploaded into the
website of Gurukulam at 1:3 ratio.

Relaxation of 2.0 cm in height and up to 1.5 kg in weight would be given.

1. Chronic Diseases and Medical Fitness:

(a) A candidate should have no past history of mental breakdown or fits.

(b) The hearing should be normal. A candidate should be able to hear a forced whisper with
each ear at a distance of 610 cm in a quiet room. There should be no evidence of present or
past disease of the ear, nose and throat. Audiometric test will be done for AF. Audiometric
hearing loss should not be greater than 20 db in frequencies between 250 and 8000 Hz.
There is no impediment of speech.
(c) There should be no signs of functional or organic disease of the heart and blood vessels.
Blood pressure should be normal.
(d) There should be no enlargement of liver or spleen. Any evidence of disease of internal
organs of the abdomen will be a cause for rejection.
(e) Un-operated hernias will make a candidate unfit. In case of Hernia which has been
operated, a minimum of one year must have passed prior to final medical examination
before commencement of the course.
(f) There should be no hydrocele, varicocele or piles.
(g) Urine examination will be done and any abnormality if detected will be a cause for
rejection.
(h) Any disease of skin which is likely to cause disability or disfigurement will also be a
cause for rejection.
(i) The candidates should have enough natural and sound teeth. A minimum of 14 dental
points will be acceptable. When 32 teeth are present, the total dental points are 22. A
candidate should not be suffering from severe pyorrhoea.

(j) Distance Vision (Corrected): Better Eye 6/6; Worse Eye 6/9. Myopia should not be
more than -2.5D including astigmatism and manifest hypermetropia not more than +3.5D
including Astigmatism. Internal examination of the eye will be done by means of
ophthalmoscope to rule out any disease of the eye. A candidate must have good binocular
vision. The Colour vision standard will be CP-III (Defective Safe). Candidates should be
able to recognize white, signal red and signal green colours correctly as shown by Martin’s
Lantern at a distance of 1.5 metre or read the requisite plate of Ishihara Book / Tokyo
Medical College Book. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence for having
undergone Radial Keratotomy, to improve the visual acuity will be permanently rejected for
all the services. Candidates who have undergone Laser Surgery for correction of refractive
error are also not acceptable to defence services.
NOTE: Any objections regarding medical fitness to be brought before TTWREIS within
seven (07) days of declaring results. Medical retest will be carried out from specialist
recommended by the TTWREIS. Preferable specialist will be from Narsampeta / Warangal
/ Hanmakonda. Cost of retest to be borne by the contender.
NOTE: Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e. from inside
of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand/Permanent
body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred
from further selection. Tribes with tattoo marks on the face or body as per their existing
custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis.
(k) Physical conditioning : Prospective candidates are advised to keep themselves in good
physical condition, by following the under mentioned routine :— (a) Running 2.4 km in 15
minutes (b) Skipping (c) Push ups and sit ups (minimum 20 each) (d) Chin ups (minimum
08) (e) Rope climbing 3-4 metres.

2. Physical Test:

Prospective candidates are advised to keep themselves in good physical condition, by


following the under mentioned Routine:

For 1st year Intermediate (MPC):

(a) Running - 2.4 km:
