I/ WRITING THE INTRODUCTION
First, we have to introduce both sides . Usually we start with a fact leading to the debate, then we
introduce the arguments. But if you don’t have much time, just say what view A is and what view B is.

Language to introduce a fact:

Signal that this is the conclusion, summarizing what has been said (if possible, use key words). State your own
opinion and don’t forget to signal that this is your own opinion. If you’re short on time, go straight to
your opinion. Try to have 2 sentences.
