ESSAY. How did you help as a student and a youth in preventing the Spread of CoVid19
Pandemic in your community?
Coronavirus disease (COVID19) is an infectious disease caused by newly discovered
coronavirus and the global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge we need to
overcome. The COVID-19 global health emergency and its economic and social impacts have
disrupted nearly all aspects of life for all groups in society. People of different ages, however,
are experiencing its effects in different ways.
As a student and a youth there are some ways in helping to prevent the Spread of
COVID19 Pandemic within the community. The COVID19 pandemic requires that e remain
vigilant everyday lives. We can each take some simple steps to help slow the spread of
coronavirus disease and protect ourselves, our families and our communities. First, follow the
simple routine World Health Organization (WHO Guidelines). Second, educate your family,
friends and community. Find opportunities to volunteer in your community. If there are older
people or immunocompromised people help them out. Another, find reliable charity to donate
some of the groceries that your community needs specially during lockdown.
We need young people’s leadership now more than ever. Most of all, in doing all of this,
stay healthy and safe. Listen to Health Authorities. Stay alert and keep a calm open mind.

ESSAY. Think of a situation where you were very depressed and thinking of harming yourself.
How did you manage to cope up with that situation or how will you manage it as a strong
person? If none, how will you help a person as a friend to at least lessen his/her depression.
Do you feel sad, empty, and hopeless most of the day, nearly every day? Have you lost
interest or pleasure in your hobbies or being with friends and family? Everyone feels sad or
low sometimes, but these feelings usually pass with little time.
In my high school life, I experienced being depressed with the situation I never expected
to happen in my life. Coping or dealing with depression was very hard. I already tried to drink
some alcoholic drinks, smoking and other vices that may harm my health. Then I realized that
I should not let myself stock with that situation. I tried to socialize with other people and I
made my routine in exercising every day that helps me to forget that incidence. I help myself
to face my fears. Facing up to that situation help become easier. I find myself asking some
advice some of my close friends that I know they will help me. starting that day, I know on
how to manage myself being depressed in any situation.
I concluded that helping yourself cope up with depression was really good.

1.What Resources Can the forest and Watershed can offer?
The resources that the forest offer are; clean water and air, timber wood products,
wildlife habitats, stable soil, and recreational opportunities, and beautify the environment. It
is also an important economic resource producing marketable timber. While the watershed
offers the following; drinking water, water for agriculture and manufacturing, offer
opportunities for recreation (canoeing and fishing) and provide habitat to numerous plants
and animals.
2.What is the Role of an individual in conserving our Forest and Water resources?
Every individual has a role in conserving our Forest and Water resources. To maintain
a healthy environment and obtain a sustainable supply of a number of forests product,
natural forests should be carefully managed and conserved through prevention of
deforestation and extension of our forest wealth. Conservation of forests includes; use non
timber product, plant more trees, grassing must be controlled, minimize the use of paper and
fuel and avoid the construction of dam, road in the forests areas. Water is the basic needs of
a living organism. Conservation of water is therefore, an absolute necessity of today. This can
be conserve through using of less water, keep harmful substances out of water, keep pipes

Land degradation is a type of soil erosion it can be planted by more and more trees.
The causes of land degradation are; deforestation, overgrazing, agricultural practices,
industrialization, and urbanization. These activities can be controlled through the practice of
strip farming, crop rotation, ridge and furrow formation, construction of dams, and contour
farming.

1.As a College student and a citizen of this country. What do you think is the significance of
studying Governance?
Governance is commonly defined as the exercise of power or authority by political
leaders for the well-being of their country’s citizens or subjects. Governance is essentially
related to politics, in that politics is often defined as the art of governance. It is the complex
process whereby some sectors of the society wield power, and enact and promulgate public
policies which directly affect human and institutional interactions, and economic and social
development.
As a college student, the significance of studying Governance is to ensure educational
objectives and efficient use of resources, accountability and participation of a student in
decision-making. Furthermore, as a citizen, it is important to study the Governance in order
to be aware of the need of good governance. To continue empowerment and sustainable
development, and to know how to fight the rights by knowing what to expect from the
Philippine governance. To know what will follow on an exposition of the basic concepts of
governance, the ideal type of governance, and the status of the Philippines vis-à-vis the
indicators of good governance.
Greatness can be achieved when good governance principle and practices are applied

“The only women who don’t believe that sexual harassment is real problem in
this country are those women who have never been in the workplace.”
The picture depicts about the Workplace Sexual-Harassment that is considered as a
maltreatment among women. According to the law, it was stated in the R. A. 7877, an “Act
Declaring Sexual Harassment Unlawful in the Employment, Education or Training
Environment, and for other purposes.”
In order to address this kind of maltreatment among women, everyone who encounter
this need to speak up, file complaints through all proper administrative channels, file a
charge with the state employment rights agency and/ or the Equal employment Opportunities
Commission and file a lawsuit. Addressing sexual harassment within the workplace claims
requires the assistance of a competent attorney familiar with the employment discrimination
law landscape.
In filing a case against the perpetrators, you should decide whether the conduct is
sexual harassment then take the next steps if you already decide you’ve been sexually
harassed. Follow your company’s official sexual harassment complaint procedures and write a
formal complaint letter about the sexual harassment. Then decide whether you need to hire

The picture depicts the about the Violence Against Women. Nowadays this is the
common problem or situation that is needed to be justice for. This refers to any act or a series
of acts committed by any person against a woman who is his, wife, former wife, or with whom
the person or had a sexual or dating relationships, or with whom he has a common child, or
against her child/ child under her care which result or likely result in physical, sexual,
physiological harm or suffering economic abuse. Including threats such as battery, assault,
coercion, harassment or arbitrary deprivation of liberty.
Speak up! In order to address this kind of maltreatment among women, it was stated in
the law. According to the law, it was stated in the R.A. 9262 “ANTI-VIOLENCE AGAINTS
WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN ACT OF 2004.” An act defining violence against women and
their children, providing for protective measure for victims prescribing penalties therefore,
and for other purposes. In section 2 (Declaration of Policy) it is declared that the State values
the dignity of women and children and guarantees full respect for human rights. The States
also recognizes the need to protect the family and its members particularly women and
children, from violence and threats to their personal safety and security.
