In order to make customers familiar with our warranty and claim settlement, we
indicate the conditions and procedures in details as below.
1. Full compensation for the following two situations:
a. Steel body breakage when lifespan of the bit used is less than 1/3 of its normal in
comparison to the average lifetime of JSI bits delivered to the same client under
the same working condition.
b. Carbide button breakage or popping-out when the wearing of the button is less
than 1/7 of its original height out of the steel body.
2. Partial compensation for the following conditions: Steel body breakage or
Carbide button breakage or popping out when lifespan of the bit used is between
1/3 and 1/2 of its normal in comparison to the average lifetime of JSI bits delivered
to the same client under the same working condition, JSI will provide partial
compensation.
3. In principle, compensation will not be made for pure fracturing of carbide button
as the reasons resulting to fracturing are complicated (such as improper
operation, drilling concrete with steel wire rods).
4. Generally compensation will not be made for breaking & cracking of steel body
and breaking & dropping-out of carbides under the condition that they have been
over worn-out.
5. Reasonable compensation shall be made in accordance with the degree of
wearing of the threads and buttons, if the bit body or carbide is broken, fractured or
drops out under the condition of being used in weathered rock, limestone or other
soft rocks.
6. Should the same problem occur for initial bits out of any bulk order when
customer starts using the bits (i.e. first five pieces of bits prematurely damaged in
the same way), please contact us or your suppliers immediately and stop using the
remaining products, we will provide timely service and settlement (such as
replacing the bits). Otherwise, we will not bear the responsibility.
7. Procedure: should the above-mentioned situations take place, please send the
damaged bits in time to our technical department. Our reply shall be given in one
week in compliance with our service commitment and handling standard.
49 Distributor or Agent must offer written quality problem report issued by end-user
for return shipment of goods.
8. In case other disputes happen, please send the remains of the drill bits to our
company, and we both parties shall solve the issue by friendly negotiation.
9. Limitation on Liability. Except as provided for herein, in no event will JSI be
liable for any indirect ,incidental, special, consequential, punitive or similar
damages including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of data or business
interruption losses. In no event will the total, aggregate liability of JSI under the
Contract exceed the value of the Contract under which liability is claimed. The
liability limitations shall apply even if JSI has been notified of the possibility or
likelihood of such damages occurring and regardless of the form of action, whether
in contract, negligence, strict liability, tort, products liability or otherwise. The
parties agree that these limits of liability shall survive and continue in full force and
effect despite any termination or expiration of any Contract. Any action by
Purchaser against JSI must be commenced within one year after the cause of
action has accrued. No employee or agent of JSI is authorized to make any
warranty other than that which is specifically set forth herein. The provisions in any
specification, brochure or chart issued by JSI are descriptive and are not
warranties.

Warranty Conditions and Procedures of Claim Settlement
(Shank Adaptor)
In order to make customers familiar with our warranty and claim settlement, we
indicate the conditions and procedures in details as below.
1. Full compensation for the following situation:
Fracture in the middle of shank adaptor when life time of the shank adaptor is less
than 1/3 of the average life time of JSI shank adaptors delivered to the same user
under the same working condition.
2. Partial compensation shall be made in accordance with wear rate of thread of
shank adaptor when fracture at bottom of thread, except for the reasons such as rod
punch bit, drilling string and hole are not in a straight line, bit hang up in the hole.
3. Impact face of shank adaptor is chipped, forward for analysis. If the related piston
is chipped too and the order of failure between shank adaptor and piston can not be
measured, we do not offer compensation.
4. Fracture at bottom of splines, forward for analysis. If deformation and adhesion
appear at both ends of the splines, we do not offer compensation.
5. Fracture in the middle of thread, forward for analysis. If adhesion, laceration and
blacken appear at the fracture, we do not offer compensation as the fracture is
caused by lack of lubrication.
6. Should the same problem occur for initial shank adaptors out of any bulk order
when user starts using the shank adaptors (i.e. first three pieces of shank adaptors
prematurely damaged in the same way), please contact us or your suppliers
immediately and stop using the remaining products, we will provide timely service
and settlement (such as replacing the shank adaptors). Otherwise, we will not bear
the responsibility.
7. Procedure: should the above-mentioned situations take place, please send the
damaged shank adaptors in time to our technical department. Our reply shall be
given in one week in compliance with our service commitment and handling
standard. Distributor or Agent must offer written quality problem report issued by
end-user for return shipment of goods.
8. In case other disputes happen, please send the remains of the shank adaptors to
our company, and we both parties shall solve the issue by friendly negotiation.
9. Limitation on Liability. Except as provided for herein, in no event will JSI be liable 68
for any indirect ,incidental, special, consequential, punitive or similar damages
including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of data or business interruption losses.
In no event will the total, aggregate liability of JSI under the Contract exceed the

In order to make customers familiar with our warranty and claim settlement, we
indicate the conditions and procedures in details as below.
1. Full compensation for the following situation:
a. Metallographic analysis report shows breakage of coupling sleeve is caused
by heat treatment defects or materials defects.
b. Coupling sleeve split, except for the reason such as coupling is not turned
firmly and shank or rod thread end is not aligned inside coupling.
2. Fracture in the middle of thread, forward for analysis. If adhesion, laceration
and blacken appear at the fracture, we do not offer compensation as the
fracture is caused by lack of lubrication.
3. Should the same problem occur for initial coupling sleeve out of any bulk
order when user starts using the coupling sleeve (i.e. first three pieces of
coupling sleeve prematurely damaged in the same way), please contact us or
your suppliers immediately and stop using the remaining products, we will
provide timely service and settlement (such as replacing the coupling sleeve).
Otherwise, we will not bear the responsibility.
4. Procedure: should the above-mentioned situations take place, please send
the damaged coupling sleeves in time to our technical department. Our reply
shall be given in one week in compliance with our service commitment and
handling standard. Distributor or Agent must offer written quality problem report
issued by end-user for return shipment of goods.
5. In case other disputes happen, please send the remains of the coupling
sleeves to our company, and we both parties shall solve the issue by friendly
negotiation.

liable for any indirect ,incidental, special, consequential, punitive or similar
damages including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of data or business
71 interruption losses. In no event will the total, aggregate liability of JSI under the
Contract exceed the value of the Contract under which liability is claimed. The
liability limitations shall apply even if JSI has been notified of the possibility or
likelihood of such damages occurring and regardless of the form of action,
whether in contract, negligence, strict liability, tort, products liability or
otherwise. The parties agree that these limits of liability shall survive and
continue in full force and effect despite any termination or expiration of any
Contract. Any action by Purchaser against JSI must be commenced within one
year after the cause of action has accrued. No employee or agent of JSI is
authorized to make any warranty other than that which is specifically set forth
