1.0 Introduction:
The parallel winding of warp ends from many winding packages on to a common
package is called warping. Sectional Warping is used for especially for fancy
patterned fabric. In this case the sections of ends are first wound on to the drum
tapered with a given cone angle. So the cross wound sections are combined on the
drum, thus each layer of warp contains the same numbers of ends on the drum.
Then the warp yarns altogether transferred to the Weaver’s beam by unwinding the
drum.

The main objects are given below:

3.0 Theory:
Warping comprises winding parts of the warp yarns, normally from bobbins, on a
warping beam, whereby sequential parts are wound next to each other until the full
weaving width is covered. The warping beam is then normally in a next step of
warp preparation used for beaming.
Again beaming comprises winding the full width of the warp yarns in a single
winding operation on the weaving beam (i.e. the beam which is to be placed on the
loom). The warp yarns can be wound from a creel or a warping beam.

5.0 Components:
1. Cone Holder : Hold the cone or arrange the cone in the creel.
3. Tension Rod : Maintain yarn tension by upper & lower disc tensioner.
4. Ceramic Guide Disc : To guide the yarn from creel to warping m/c.
7. Guide Reed : Uniformly spread the yarn over the warp width.
14. Automatic Knock Off : Stop m/c at achieving required length of beam .
