    Good afternoon everyone.

    Let us bow our heads and place ourselves in the presence of our
    Lord.

    Let us pray.

    Lord Jesus Christ

    We thank you for this wonderful day that you have given us amidst these challenging times.

    Give us the strength to overcome, not just our personal problems and trials, but also the
    tribulations and adverse consequences brought about by today’s pandemic, which has affected
    every nation of the world. We believe that, along with our efforts to obey community
    quarantine protocols to protect the health and lives of our own and our families, You, our most
    powerful Lord, can help us combat the deadly virus that is SARS-COV-19 and prevent us from
    being afflicted by its brought-about disease.

    Lord, please heal those who have already acquired the disease and may you give them strength
    and hope.

    We are aware that in order for the world to be COVID-free, we need the government to support
    our medical frontliners, who every day are risking their lives to therapeutically serve those
    infected individuals, and to fund our scientists who are currently developing a vaccine against
    the virus. In line with this, we ask you Lord to knock some sense and empathy to our
    government officials, especially the President, to effectively do their duty and allocate funds to
    where they should be allotted. Lord, please, we ask some sort of miracle so that the officials of
    the Philippine government will focus on supporting our countrymen regarding the combat
    against COVID-19 and not swerve towards unnecessary issues.

    Forgive us Lord for all of the sins that we have committed and may we not repeat them.
    Absolve us from all our worldly desires and malicious and evil thoughts.

    May you always shower us with your blessings of love, hope and guidance.

    All of this we offer to you, dear Lord.

    Amen.
