Why this much cost to this cycle? For this price, I can buy 2 (150 cc) commuter bikes.
Totally waste. Don't buy this bike. Mileage is very poor for this segment. We can still
go for RC 200, 390, Adv 390, 250. But don't go for this. We cant expect a bit more
performance ...

Buying experience was not that much good and that is not the main point here.
Looks is fabulous and as per the power to weight ratio is good it can be maneuver
easily and quickly. Handling as per my experience is best on racing bike. Although
you have to compromise with your comfort in city that is fine but on long tours and
rides, difficult to be in such angle for longer hours. Service cost is fine, if you can
afford this bike eventually service cost is not that much higher. Under 3k you can got
it serviced along with few part change.
Pros: Power and torque, awesome pickup. Fuel efficiency is good with power.
Con: Posture(however that is issue with all bikes with clip-on and racing dna)

1. Buying experience was good. I got good offer.

2. Riding experience was initially painful for joints due to its riding posture but after
few days it's become a habit. I had also travel 160 kms in a day.
3. I purchased this vehicle for it's looks. So no questions on looks. I feel initial pickup
is best in its segment but lacks in higher end.
4. Maintaining & servicing is easier for me. For normal free service cost up to rs.
1500, for paid one cost in between rs. 1500-2500.
5. Pros- best looks, best handling, easy to maintain, best performance, light in weight
& many more.
Cons- vibration foot pegs in higher rpm, engine get heat in traffic.

I don't own this bike (ktm rc), but it is my dream bike, one day my dream will come
true. In my point of view this little beast is very expensive, so everyone can't afford
this bike. Its riding experience is good for me, some of them have back pain. About
its looks and performance: i didn't have words to explain this, because it is really
awesome. It is a track oriented bike so its performance is very good and also it has a
high performance engine that gives you more satisfaction while you riding this little
beast. Service and maintenance is little bit costly, premium vehicle needs premium
maintenance.

Great bike. Simply no cons. There might be little problem in traffic but overall the
best bike I have ever owned .
Shifted from apache rtr 200 to pulsar Rs. 200 to finally Ktm rc 200.
Do not worry about expensive servicing , because if you truly love your ride then you
can go to any extent to make it better .
It is also good for everyday use as well as touring provided you have a habit of
touring with sport bikes.
Definitely not the one for a slow bike rider and the one who loves cruise bikes.

This bike is really amazing. Acceleration is too fast as compared to Dominar 400. Also
advanced meter console. Braking is good enough. The headlight unit is too Sharp, its
look like a Beast. I already ride 3000kms. No any problems with this 390. Servicing &
maintenance is on the higher side but its worthy.
Cons : Pillion seat not comfortable.

The showroom staff treated us very good. It is a pocket rocket it has a next level
performance it was above my expectations. It is a great looking bike with some sharp
cuts trendy looks. Servicing and maintenance is very easy and cheap gives better
performance and mileage than the dominar 400.The pros of this bike is amazing
power, cheap and easy maintenance, easy to ride in cities ,service quality is excellent.

I own a duke 390 bs4 version for 2+ years now covering 16000 kms. I must say, it is
an awesome everyday companion.
Riding experience:-
I ride my bike to office and home every day covering 80 kms/day. I also do occasional
tours ranging from 200-300 kms. The ride quality and reliability is good. First and
foremost is safety. You feel more comfortable and safe in the corners and during
high speed braking. The acceleration is sublime and it does that without breaking a
sweat. I generally don't prefer carrying pillion so i can't really comment on that but i
can say this is not a comfortable bike for a married-family man having the purpose
of riding to nearby shops, carrying pillion partner etc., this is best experienced when
riding solo.
Looks & performance :-
Bs4 and now the bs6 looks very similar except the color and decals. Looking
stunning.
After a couple of tours, I realized the engine, braking performance were great. The
enormous grip generated by the stock 'h' rated Metzeler are even more superior. I'd
say this bike has got all the best performance components.
Servicing and maintenance :-
I was a royal enfield owner previously and i don't feel any difference in maintaining
duke 390 in terms of costs and wear n tear parts. I do general service once in 4
months and oil service once in 8 months or 7500 kms whichever earlier. General
service cost a 3-digit figure and oil service costs me approx. 2000-3500 depending on
the additional components like air filter, brake pads etc.,
The stock 'h' rated Metzeler lasted in my bike for a straight 15,000 kms
(manufacturer claims a mere 8000 kms). I ride my bike in nh and neat tarmac of
bangalore so i was able to stretch the life of those tires twice than usual.
Replacement tires 'h'-Metzeler (or) 'h'-Michelin (or) 'w'-Apollo will cost you around
11,000 to 13,000 Rs. and they have different life span and ride quality. You may have
to explore and find the right choice among these. Chain sprocket costs around 4000
Rs., and mine is still in good condition (at 16000 kms). Regular cleaning and
lubricating (every 500 kms or 2 weeks whichever earlier) has stretched the sprocket
life as well.
With all the above, you may have some understanding on the maintenance and
costing involved.
I use my bike only for daily commute to office and occasional touring as said above. I
constantly get a mileage of 32 kms/litre. I don't revv up a lot and shift gears at
approx. 5500 rpm and maintain uniform speeds averaging 70-85 km/h.
Pros:-
High efficient braking and safety
Reliable engine
Touring ride quality
Cornering and excellent tire grip in dry and wet conditions (with Metzeler)
Cons:-
Frequent chain clean and lube maintenance
Less tire life
High wear n tear of small parts and minor replacement costs (air filter etc.,)
Suitable for solo only (personally I did not feel this bike comfortable for duo rides)
