4  Have everyone sit on the floor with a little space around them at the front of

 Warm Up Sounds
 And/or Warm up our bodies: Have students stand up. Identify Head, Toes,
Elbows etc. as a little stretch.
EXAMPLE: “Touch your toes, now touch your feet, now touch your ankles,
now touch your knees.” Work all the way up to the top of your head.
Body:
9 Learning Activity 1:
minutes  Sing the welcome song twice through while marching around the class
(follow the leader style). All students should march and sing while following
you. Then say STOP.
 Ask students: What is your favourite water animal? RAISE YOUR HANDS.
Choose someone who is quietly raising their hand.
 Ask: How does that creature move? (IMITATE THAT CREATURE)
 Now SING the welcome song while still moving around the room acting like
that animal.
 Have each student clap their names rhythmically.
 Then go around the circle and sing everyone’s name on So Mi.
 Then challenge them to go around the circle and all sing their names on So
and Mi.

minutes  Ask a student to pick a warmup song that we have learned before (not
sleeping bunnies though)
 Review DO at your Belly Button song briefly.
 Sing a line and then have them repeat.
 See if they can remember the next line sing Do at your Belly Button, then do
the hand sign for Re, and see if they can remember the words of that line.

12 Learning Activity 3 (if necessary, otherwise remove):


minutes  Start learning Once there was a snowman. Sing it through and they
will follow along and learn it. Do the actions.

 SPONGE: Hinges or Sleeping Bunnies
