Career Fair
1. Did you attend the in-person or virtual career fair? What was your overall reaction to
the career fair?
I attended the in-person career fair overall I liked the environment of the fair and the
employers were helpful and understanding, telling me about their company's and what they are
looking for in employees
2. What employers did you talk to and what did you gain from the interactions?
The two employers that spoke to were Conagra brand and access system. I gain a
understanding that many employers are looking for students that are open-minded and are
willing to see tasks from a unique perspective.
3. Were there any employers that you’d be interested in working for in the future? What
skills and experiences will you have to have before you can work for them? How will
develop those skills and gain those experiences?
The company I would like to work with in the future is called access system. I will need to have
a better grasp coding or creating a program with a team and a better handle on working with
servers.
4. Your recommendations (positive or negative) for this type of activity. Would you
attend similar events in the future? Why/why not?
I would give the fair a positive recommendation because of the amount of information you can
gather and opportunity you gain from going there.
5. Suggestions as to how the event could have been planned more effectively, what
would make this event better in the future, and/or how to encourage more students
to attend.
I believe that you could have given each employer more room to set up their space. the room
felt cramped and sometimes made it harder to find a employer you want to speak with.
6. After attending this career fair, what advice would you give yourself so that you could
be better prepared to attend a career fair in the future?
I should have gone to Scott campus and found the building before career fair.
