1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

2. What aspects of this position appealed to you most when you applied?

learned that you are looking for candidates with


exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. I
was drawn to this position because of my unique
ability to identify problems quickly and come up with
creative solutions. I have experience working on a
number of different types of projects- solving various
complex problems on teams of like-minded
individuals. I have always worked hard to keep the
quality of work produced by the company high. This
position interested me because I saw an opportunity
to do the same here. I would like to display my
problem-solving skills and put them to good use in
order to help this company excel. I value hard work
and projects done with quality.
3. How do you organize, plan, and prioritize your work?
I list my tasks and rank them in order of their urgency and
importance. As soon as I get to work, I record the assignments I
need to complete and list them in order of highest to lowest
priority based on the due dates. This helps me manage my
workflow and keeps me on track with what I need to get done
for that day." "I always communicate with my team lead about
expected due dates for my assignments first. Then I create my
own deadline based on my assigned due dates.
4. What skills do you think process analysts need to be successful?
Oral and written communication is key have the ability to
communicate in a way that will be meaningful. Analytical thinking
using a step-by-step method to analyze an issue, then determine the
solution. Having am ability to use a cause (why something
happens) and effect (what happens) process to determine an
outcome or answer. Group facilitation o help get information,
opinions and ideas from working with groups of people on a
regular basis
5. What techniques do you use to evaluate existing processes and workflows within a
business?
Conducting primary research, evaluations and student assessments
are existing processes used within CPS. The Special education
department starts with the childs IEP and makes a decision
about an appropriate educational program for the
child. Then I am tasked with reviewing and validating
service capture claims data along with creating utilization reports.
6. Please share an experience in which you presented to a group. What was the situation
and how did it go?
I was once asked by my supervisor to present the new Harris
GPS calculator that was used for the first time ever during the
2010 Census Bureau to clients. My company wanted me to
represent our office in a regional meeting. I had an hour to
prepare, to look at the findings we had at the time. After the quick
research, I talked to the clients and made them well aware that I
was the new kid on the block. However, I presented all of the
results I knew with confidence and the clients were quite pleased.
My company was quite impressed how I gave an impromptu
presentation and since then, I was relied upon for presentations.”
7. Share an example of when you went above and beyond the "call of duty”.

During the MLB all star game a gentleman kept sasking around if
he can have access to the bleacher system suspended all the way
above ground a few feet below the ceiling. When he approached
me I understood that he was just trying to get some photos for his
business web site as being a client rep with one of MLB’s main
sponsors. I realized that instead of nuding my boss that I could
handl ethe situation myself. So I just made a radio call to the
building operations team and was able to grant him access to the
bleacher system to take pictures of his exposition booth and
surrounding area.
8. Share an experience when you applied new technology in your job. How did it help
your company?

at comcast I implemented a unique filing system in an


organization that has been using manual filing for a very long
time. This system decreased the file searching process by
50%, enabling ease of access. They were filing via clients
name and then address area via a map. I suggested to just
start by the actual dates of when calls and messages came
through to make it easier for everyone to look up what client
they worked with via which day and time.

9. Can you tell me about a successful project where processes you instituted contributed
to improved business functions?
I have worked on many important projects throughout my career.
What's really crucial for me when starting one is to get very clear on the
goals right at the start and then create a plan with milestones. I also like
dealing with the most difficult parts of the projects early on—that way
in case there are any significant issues, I'll still have a nice amount of
time to complete before the deadline. I also typically break down large
tasks into smaller chunks, so that it is easier to know where to
start. Currently I monitorerand analyze Medicaid failed claims to
optimize revenue receipt. Coordinated with the Medicaid vendor to
assess failed on a monthly basis. I alsoResolved curable failures to
capture potentially lost revenue while tracking revenue captured from
failed claim resolution.

What is your greatest strength?


My greatest strength is attention to detail. I've always been detail-oriented in my
work, and it's something I enjoy. I saw on your job description that this role involves
a lot of detail-oriented work, which is one reason I applied.

What is your greatest weakness?


spend too much time analyzing the finer points. I’ve been striving to improve in this area
by checking in with myself at regular intervals and giving myself a chance to re-focusing
on the bigger picture.

Why do you want this job?


I can do the work and deliver exceptional results. I will fit in beautifully and be a

How do you handle stress and pressure?


I take a few moments to outline a schedule and map out my game plan. Then I got to
work. I made sure to communicate my progress with my manager so that they could
stay in the loop. If any problems came up, I looped them

Describe a difficult work situation or project and how you overcame it.
My long-term goal is to eventually become a branch manager after I’ve proven my
Trustworthiness & Ethics in customer service and team leadership.
