    Professional language, including correct grammar and spelling, is important in all business
    correspondence, including email.

    Scenario:
    AT&T Uverse, a cable, phone and Internet provider, announces it is coming to New Mexico, and
    you decide to sign up your household. You receive the following email response from the Uverse
    customer service representative, Tom Blankinship:

    i qot u qualified for the uverse tripl pak with free instll unlimited phne 2OO channels incl
    locl news, pro speed internt yr nu phn wud be 505 526 3444 first 6mnths only 101$ for
    all 3 svc however to get a due date on yr order i need a callbak with a credit crd.number
    to put on file, nt to put money against it or on it, if u get this msg u can call my manaqer
    mimi at 661--327 6059 and i can call u bak or she can tke the rest info I leev today at
    1pm

    For this activity, you will re-write this email to make it a strong example of professional
    communication. Address the email to yourself. This requires more than simply translating “text-
    speak” – you need to look carefully at the phrasing and revise it as needed to make the email
    business-like and correct. Remember not to delete any information that this email attempts to
