The key takeaways are that the lesson plan aims to teach students about Greek mythology and how the definition of a hero has changed over time and varies by culture.

The essential questions explored are: 1) What is a hero? 2) What role can myths and beliefs from the past have in today’s world? 3) How does the definition of a hero change? And why? 4) How do we use stories to explain the world around us?

Students will be expected to conduct an interview with a Greek god or hero and create a podcast. They will write a script, perform, and record their podcast which should establish the characters and discuss how the definition of a hero has changed.
