BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Let’s Study This!
One of the most common commercial art that can be found in our visual
environment is a company logo. A logo is a unique identifying symbol. It is a
special image to identify an individual, business, group or product. They are
printed on clothes, buses, notebooks, and so on. A well-designed logo makes
an impact on our eyes and minds. There are business, group or products that
became famous because of their logo.

Logos come in different types. The following are some of them:


1. Personal logos
Logos as personal images are used to brand possessions,
achievements, or even one’s identity.

2. Crest
Crests are logos that are used to identify a family, country, or
organization. It symbolizes the status or rank of an individual in
the society.

3. Business and product logos
This logo makes the product noticeable in the market without

Logo design is an important field of graphic art. Like all graphic arts,
logo design aims to communicate a message to its viewers. A logo design has
to be strong, interesting, and unique. And that is the job of a Graphic
designers. They make sure that the design is visually pleasing.

Designing a logo takes technical know-how, as well as good sense of


design and art. An effective logo should consider the following:

Symbols
- it is a picture of a thing that makes it easier for people to recognize,
identify or recall. This symbol represent the trait of an individual.

Colors
- one of the art elements that makes everything alive. It is important to
choose colors that conveys passion and excitement.

- text say something about the individual or business. It should be few

- The use of simple, neat and easy-to-recognize
