Design thinking is a human centered & collaborative approach


to find futuristic solution that is creative, iterative and practical.

Digital behaviour is the mind-set that looks at out-of-box


solutions that would be in tune with the needs of the user.
Design thinking is about the coming together of Feasibility,
Desirability & Viability. Design thinking is characterized by the 5
phases:

- Empathize – for meaningful innovations one need to know the user & understand their needs

- Define – Create a meaningful and
actionable problem statement
- Ideate – Brainstorm and Create multiple
solutions to address the customer need
- Prototype – Create low-resolution
prototypes that are quick & cheap to
obtain user feedback
- Test - Involve the User in testing the
prototype

Digital Mindset: In the Digital era – employees should avoid status-quo and get away from the mind-
set of resisting change. Employees should have a mind-set that looks at growth and embrace every
opportunity to maximize on resources to be successful. For this employee should be ready to change
their individual behaviours, work practices and their mind-sets. Digital mind-set is all about
improving customer experience at high speed.

Agile is a delivery philosophy that emphasizes on:

DevOps is about effective and efficient communication, collaboration and integration of work within
and between the development and operations team. DevOps consists of methodologies such as
continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment and continuous operations

• Internet of Things: IOT is all about connecting things around us. To make a device into a
smart thing through IOT, unique identity, ability to communicate, capability to collect data
around it and remotely controllable are the key aspects. This way billions of connected
devices in internet can become an intelligent system of systems.
• Cloud Computing: Computing over internet. Organization uses available resources on a pay
per use basis to optimize on the CAPEX. Three deployment models are
a. Private: Solely for one organization and offers highest level of security
b. Public: Owned by cloud provider and shared by multiple organizations- Operational
efficiency.
c. Hybrid: Combination of private and public deployment models.

IaaS (infrastructure as a service), PaaS (platform as a service) and SaaS (software as a


service) are the three most common service models of Cloud offering.

• Artificial Intelligence: AI is all about creating a computer that can think, be cognitive and
adaptive like the human brain. Google, Facebook, Siri, Cortana and Wipro’s own HOLMES
are some examples of AI system.
• Mobility:

Mobility enables organizations to:

- Be connected to customer 24/7,


- Provide flexibility to customers to avail services from anywhere anytime
- Provides business flexibility to Users and enables them to be no longer limited to the
office network.
Medical Claim process, Travel Expense management, myWipro are some of the examples of
Mobile Enabled applications.

• Data Analytics: Analytics refer to the ability to collect and use data, the generic insights that
inform fact based decision making. Sources of data can be from Emails, browser logs, a

website purchases and preferences, every time you download a movie or a song, every place
you go using a maps app on smartphone, sensors, tracking devices, data from back office
systems etc.
