and between the development and operations team. DevOps consists of methodologies such as
continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment and continuous operations

• Internet of Things: IOT is all about connecting things around us. To make a device into a
smart thing through IOT, unique identity, ability to communicate, capability to collect data
around it and remotely controllable are the key aspects. This way billions of connected
devices in internet can become an intelligent system of systems.
• Cloud Computing: Computing over internet. Organization uses available resources on a pay
per use basis to optimize on the CAPEX. Three deployment models are
a. Private: Solely for one organization and offers highest level of security
b. Public: Owned by cloud provider and shared by multiple organizations- Operational
efficiency.
c. Hybrid: Combination of private and public deployment models.
• Artificial Intelligence: AI is all about creating a computer that can think, be cognitive and
adaptive like the human brain. Google, Facebook, Siri, Cortana and Wipro’s own HOLMES
are some examples of AI system.

• Data Analytics: Analytics refer to the ability to collect and use data, the generic insights that
inform fact based decision making. Sources of data can be from Emails, browser logs, a

you go using a maps app on smartphone, sensors, tracking devices, data from back office
systems etc.
