Some comments on Cisco DNA-Center co- For Your
existence tool (1/2) Reference

PI 3.5 supports Cisco DNA-C 1.2.1 - 1.2.6

PI 3.6 will support 1.2.6, 1.2.8, 1.2.10, 1.3 and forward (planned)

10.5.0 and above versions of CMX is supported

User on Prime has to be Root or SuperUser

What happens behind the scenes: The co.exist tool Uses the API to Prime it exports groups + devices
into CSV file, export maps into a map archive, then using the API to Cisco DNA-Center it imports the
groups, devices and map archivea

Some comments on Cisco DNA-Center co- For Your
existence tool (2/2) Reference

Migration of 500 groups + 1000 devices using force sync will take between 5-10
minutes

Removal of many groups/devices/maps takes more time(hours)

Tip : If you are having issues, try and do it manually as the error messages makes
more sense in the Prime/Cisco DNA-C GUI. You can also have a look in the
logfile on Prime “/opt/CSCOlumos/logs/process_dnac_migration.log”

Some things requires a ”force sync” like adding an AP or moving and AP on a

MAP.
