    Telbang National High School provided literacy intervention for struggling readers from September to November 2021 in line with the Department of Education's Brigada Pagbasa program. The intervention was led by Mrs. Perla Pascua and coordinated by Mr. Jefry de Guzman, using volunteer elementary teachers and providing reading materials and pre/post-tests. With help from stakeholders, the program successfully improved the literacy of targeted students.

    NARRATIVE REPORT

    In line with the Department of Education's Brigada Pagbasa which aims to improve the literacy of

    learners, Telbang National High School provided an intervention to selected and identified

    struggling readers of the school based on school's Reading Report on School Year 2020 2021,

    through the leadership of Mrs. Perla N. Pascua and initiative of the schools Reading coordinator,

    Mr. Jefry de Guzman from September 18, 2021 – November 20, 2021.

    The volunteers tapped are all professional teachers and mostly elementary teachers which made the

    orientation implementation easier. Reading materials were provided by the school to the learners as

    well as the pre-test and post-test which were also administered to them. With the aid of volunteer

    stakeholders, the program was successfully implemented.

    Documentation pictures and pre-test and post-test results are attached for verification purposes.
