Transfer

Creation: The humanities provide us with the knowledge, skills and attitudes we need to be active informed citizens within the local and global community. It helps us to understand
that we are made by God who has entrusted creation to our care. It’s all about God’s story and how we can live in harmony with each other and our environment.

Fall: We discover that the harmony within society, people and the environment has been broken through greed and selfishness to control others rather than bless others, consequently
bringing destruction. We see the negative effects on people and the environment and we learn about man’s attempts to create utopian systems (political, social/cultural and
economic).

Redemption: As redeemed people, through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross, we develop moral and godly responses by learning to think critically, be prayerful and active in
our faith. We are learning from the mistakes of the past, relying on God in all situations. We are learning to appreciate the value of God’s entire social/physical environment.

Restoration: In Christ and through the Holy Spirit, we can enjoy glimpses of God’s kingdom on earth as God reveals hope for a bright future. We discover God is sovereign and has a
plan that He is carrying to completion of full restoration. We are actively transforming our world for God’s purposes and becoming advocates of reconciliation and stewardship.
We trust God’s purposes for the world will be accomplished.
