Captain America Amigurumi Doll

Pattern by Gina Fiorito, for Electric Bunny Crafts

Materials Needed

Yarn Colors:
Pale Cream (for skin)
Dark Blue, Red, White (for costume)

Size F (3.75mm) Crochet Hook

Size B (2.25 mm) Crochet Hook
Sewing needle to attach body parts

9mm Safety Eyes (1 pair)

Stitch Marker (or Paper Clip!)
Fiber Filling

A Note on Yarn:
Be sure to use a soft worsted weight yarn for these dolls. I
personally like the feel of Red Heart Soft and Caron Simply Soft on
the finished product, although they can sometimes be hard to
work with. I had no problem mixing brands.

Finished Size: 5.5-6” / 14-16 cm tall; 2.5” / 6 cm

wide

Gauge: 5 stitches = 1” Pattern Notes: This pattern is worked in rounds.

Be sure to move your stitch marker to the

stitches visible between the edges. Next, embroider the “A” using
white yarn between the eyes. The “A” should be approximately 3

DOLL CONSTRUCTION
STEP 1: Attach body to head using the tail left on the body. It is best to
line up the body with R20 of the head as they have the same amount of
stitches (12).

STEP 2: To attach arms, flatten seams and attach to the top of the body, approximately 1” apart.

STEP 3: Attach star to the front of the chest. Attach wings on either side of the head, slanting them at a
45* angle, so that the bottom of the wing lines up with the eyes. (The rounded portion of the wing should
face the back of the head.)
