The crochet pattern is for your personal use only. This is an author's
development. Resale, copying, translation into other languages,

The difficulty level is average. The pattern does not contain


crocheting lessons and requires basic knowledge.

tried to describe in all details each stage of creating this toy and I

Required materials and tools


1. Yarn:
Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100gr/120mt) – 80301 white (2 skeins)
Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100gr/120mt) – 80337 brown (1 skein)
Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100gr/120mt) – 80318 red (2,5 skein)
Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100gr/120mt) – 80333 beige (1 skein)
YarnArt Jeans (50gr/160mt) – 20 pink
YarnArt Jeans (50gr/160mt) – 40 brown
You can use analogues that are suitable in size and color.
2. Eyes d-12mm (I have sewn-on eyes)
3. Felt discs d-20mm
4. Filler – I have fiberfill
5. Hook – I have 3,5 for plush yarn and 2,25 for cotton yarn
6. Needle and strong thread for sewing the details
7. Scissors
8. Wooden buttons d-2,5cm

From the above materials, the size of the toy will be 70cm.
I use mixed crocheting method.

Symbols
mr – magic ring
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
dtr – double treble crochet
dc sl st – double crochet slip stitch
puff – puff stitch (tr3tog cluster)
dec. – decrease (2sc together)
inc. – increase (2sc in same stitch)
Triple inc – 3 stitches in same stitch cluster
Triple dec – 3 stitches together cluster
(…) – total amount of stitches in the row
FLO – front loops only (front thread of the loop)
BLO - back loops only (back thread of the loop)
SS – shift stitch: make some additional stitches to align the
marker thread.
FPdc – front post double crochet
BPdc – back post double crochet
I use mixed crocheting method. The thread is caught under the
hook in this method, and the pattern of the canvas reminds
crosses. The canvas turns out to be tighter and the offset of
loops is less considerable.

Arms
Crochet two identical details. Fill the lower part of the mittens
stuffed tightly, the arms – not tightly. Start crocheting from the
finger with red yarn.

Cut off the thread, secure and hide the thread ends. Crochet
the palm:

Start crocheting from the boots. Crochet the boots with brown
yarn:

Secure and hide the thread end on the first leg (the leg on the left in

the photo). Crochet the second leg in the same way (the leg on the
right in the photo).
Go back to the red color of the right leg (it is the right on the
photo) and continue to crochet. Dissolve 2 stitches on the right leg to
align the thread. Next, put both feet side by side and make sure that
the toes of the shoes are symmetrical.

28. Crochet 5ch from the right leg and attach them to the left
leg (in the 9th stitch on the left leg clockwise from the marker
thread), (4sc,1inc.)*6 – on the left leg, 5sc on the chain, (4sc,
1inc.)*6 – on the right leg, 5sc on the other side of the chain
(82) – place here the marker of the rows beginning, it will be
according to the detail on the front.

Crochet 40sc and place the marker. It should pass through the
center of the part at the back. You can get a different number of
stitches, make sure that the marker starts exactly in the center at
the back. Next, the marker thread will go around the back.

I recommend strengthening the neck of the toy with wooden

Assembly and decoration

Pin the straps to the pants. Sew the buttons at the front, at
the back the straps are criss-crossed.

Pin the nose: count 14 rows from the neck — it will be the
beginning of the nose on the bottom line. Sew on the nose.

Pin and sew on the cheeks on the sides of the nose.

One row above the nose sew on the eyes with felt discs
(optional). Embroider the eyebrows, eyelashes and smile with brown
yarn (as in the photo).

Pin the beard to the head as in the photo. I formed a line of


cheeks and chin. Sew on it.

Cap:
Crochet with red yarn without tightening.
Crochet the cap in rounds with sl st at the end of each row and
with tch at the beginning of each row (these stitches will be counted
as the first stitch of the row).
