    1 All persons entering construction site must wear
    safety helmets and safety shoes.
    2 All persons working above 2m must wear safety
    harness with lifeline anchored to strong supports. All
    works above 2m must be carried out on good
    working platform, which is built to acceptable
    standards of safety.
    3 Where special equipment is needed for electrical
    works are available
    4 Are protective guards on machines in position
    5 Are openings / pits covered or barricaded properly
    6 Is Housekeeping in order, are material stacked
    properly in an ear- marked place
    7 Is work- place polluted with dust, fumes gas etc., for
    which safety appliances are provided or not.
    8 Fire extinguishers available at site / stores
    9 Are Fire extinguishers hung on proper clamps at wall
    or placed on floor
    10 Are Expiry dates for refilling of medium written on
    the body of extinguishers?
    11 Are fire buckets available at site (Fire Point)
    12 Are fire buckets filled with water/sand
    13 Earth-connection provided to all the equipments.
    14 Earth conductor continued up to DB?
    15 Are ELCBs introduced in all electrical circuits
    16 Are ELCBs tested for function
    17 Insertion of loose wires in sockets noticed without
    using plugs.
    18 Are Electrical cable joints properly made at site.
    19 Cover/shade for DB, SDB, etc provided with locking
    arrangements
    20 Are the accesses & work places properly illuminated
    21 Are lifting equipments and tackles in good working
    conditions, load tested and 3rd party certified?
