The above-described restrictions and prohibitions are applicable to
most USG global health and development funding and are part of U.S.
law and agency regulations. Further guidance is provided in 2 CFR
200 Subpart E “Cost Principles,” which details rules for 55 specific
goods and services, including when they can and cannot be paid
for with USG funds. It is a good idea to scan this list and familiarize
yourself with all items relevant to your program.
