Activity No. 1: Is it fact or a bluff?
Target Skills: Data Analysis, Information Literacy
If the statement is true, then write FACT and if false write BLUFF.
1. God’s love and mercy are infinite for the contrite heart. FACT

Activity No. 2: Stop, Look and Listen

Target Skills: Story Analysis, Critical thinking.
Read and reflect from the First Book of Samuel 1:1-18 on page 67-68 then proceed to
the next activity.
REFLECT USING THE GUIDE QUESTIONS BELOW

1. If God will call you today, will you say YES?
2. How do you know that it is God calling you?
3. What do we need to do in order to discern the will of God?
STOP What are your realizations after reflecting on the Gospel reading? Give

that He is calling us.

When Samuel no longer recognized that it was God

who was calling him. Like us sometimes we do not
know that God is calling us we do not pay attention to
him or we seem to be deaf and we do not know that
God's message will be good for us.

what He wants to happen to us and what we really
are or purpose in life, He gives us direction and
guide.
