0 Overview
Auto Creative Company (ACC) is an Australian designing company which is contracted to design
and manage construction of a mouse trap vehicle for Mouse Trap Racing. As the designing is
done by our team, we are currently looking for a qualified contractor to build our design.
3.2 Professionalism
It is expected from the construction company to ask specific and technical questions about the
design. Comments for improving our design are highly desired. Builder Company must have
high understanding of our design.
3.3 Maintenance
A user manual is to be provided by the construction company for solving the simple arising
problems with the vehicle, i.e. problems which are likely to occur and can be solved with no
technical experience in maintenance.
3.4 Punctuality
The contractor is to attend all meetings on time. Changing the time of confirmed meetings is
not accepted and they must hand in the required documents on time.
3.5 Being Organized
Constructor Company should prepare an agenda for our meetings and they are expected to
record the minutes of each meeting. It is expected that they have a schedule for construction to
estimate how long the construction will take?
3.6 Costing
Contractor Company must maintain a good financial management. Construction cost should not
exceed our predicted cost by 10-20%.
3.7 Experience
It is desired that the contractor has done vehicle construction before, if they have done so, a
reference is to be provided.
3.8 Communication
The contractor is expected to contact the right person in our team regarding their questions.
We expect them to answer our e-mails, phone calls or texts on time and they should be easy to
contact and available.
3.9 OS&H
Occupational Safety and Health is very important for Mousetrap Vehicle Construction. The
contractor company must carefully consider all safety hazards during working with materials
such as Drill, Saw, Cutter and Glue.
