18. A compound on analysis gave the following percentage composition : (5)
Na = 18.59%, S = 25.80%, H = 4.03% and O = 51.58%
Calculate the molecular formula of the crystalline salt on the assumption that all the hydrogen atoms in the
compound are present in combination with oxygen as water of crystallization. The molecular weight of the
compound is 248 amu.
