BRAC University
made a plan to establish our own company. We have set a plan to establish a restaurant. A
restaurant is a business which prepares and serves various kinds of foods and drinks to customers
in exchange for money. Meals are generally served and eaten on the place, but many restaurants
also offer take-out and food delivery services, and some offer only take-out and delivery.
Restaurants usually vary greatly in appearance and offerings, including a wide variety
are classified in many different ways. The primary factors are usually the food itself
the style of offering (e.g. a tastet restaurant, a buffet restaurant). Beyond this, restaurants may
make different themselves on factors including speed as formality, location, cost, service,
or novelty themes. In primary stage, we will produce various kinds of food like fast food, foreign
foods like Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai and serve beverages to customers. We will set
up our restaurant beside Brac University campus. Fresh, Hygienic tasty food at affordable price,
Innovation in quality will be the key motivating factor for us. Our restaurant will be suitable for
all types of customers. We’ll ensure the best food quality. We’ll provide customer-friendly
facilities like free home delivery service, free wifi service as well as many attracting offers to
customers. As we are opening a restaurant beside a university campus, we should provide some
competitive and attractive offers. Because there are many other restaurants in this area. In our
competitive Offers, we can include some special set menus in the list of food for couples. We
can also provide some discount offers for students and teachers and a little service charge. Free
home delivery and free wi-fi service will be available for all. There will be smoking zone for
smokers. It’s true that in this way we’ll make a little profit. But as we are beginners, we want to
spread our business to every persons. We’ll provide them services with a very little cost. Once
As we will be going to start a new business, we should have some goals. One of our goal is to
make our restaurant a sustainable one. It is a way to meet the present needs of the consumers
without compromising the future needs. Another one is recruiting 50% of employee as
contingent employee. We’ll give priority to students as now a days students are interested to do
part time jobs. We’ll advertise our restaurant well as we’ll have to be popular. As our country is
a muslim country, we’ll make sure that our foods and ingredients are 100% halal. It is an
important goal for us. Overall the main goal of us is to satisfy customers with quality foods and
services. Our mission is to open new franchises. At first, we’ll open franchises in every well
known universities of Dhaka city and then in every important places of Dhaka city. Firstly, our
targeted customers will be students. We want to make our customers happy and satisfied. We’ll
try our best to provide them a suitable and likable environment for eating with highest level of
quality products and best value for money. We want to make amazing delicious food and offer
them a warm welcoming services. We’ll provide food items which are unavailable in other
restaurants. Our vision is to spread and develop our restaurant business in all over Bangladesh.
We’ll provide fresh, good, healthy and affordable foods. Though it is not an easy task but we
believe on our vision also we’ll remember that we should not try to run before we walk. It is not
always easy to achieve our vision but we’ll try our best to reach there. As we’ll have to achieve
our goals, we’ll also have some objectives. Such as, to make our restaurant sustainable, we’ll
make our food menu seasonal. We’ll take ingredients from right producer who follows
sustainable practices. We can buy our ingredients from trustworthy local suppliers. Because it’ll
be fresh and less costly. We’ll print our menu in recyclable papers. We’ll manage our wastages
and try to reduce them. We’ll use bags made of jute instead of poly bags. We’ll recruit 50%
contingent employee as contingent employee takes less than permanent workers, it’ll be better
for us as we’ll be just going to start a new business and as we’ll prefer students for this, it’ll be
great for them also as they can earn some money besides their studies. We’ll choose ingredients
and produce foods in halal way. We’ll also have to be careful about it. We’ll provide every
quality facilities to customers. Such as, choosing a better place for restaurant, providing air
conditioning facilities, keeping the entire space neat and clean, maintaining the environment of
restaurant, recruiting good employee and controlling them, decorating properly, serving food in
time, maintaining other services like food home delivery etc. We’ll try our best to complete this
objectives. Now I am going to tell about the innovative thing of our restaurant. The innovative
thing of our restaurant business is location. For starting a new business and to get a expected
profit firstly an entrepreneur has to select a suitable location as his kind of business and literally
location is one of the most important thing for restaurant business. A business will gain great
profit enough as we’ll be establishing our restaurant in front of a well known university’s
campus.
