    EJOT CONLOK

    EJOT CONLOK® is a contact profile located under


    the head of the screw marked by a discontinuous
    cut point with a transition radius that starts at the
    fastener shank. The teeth formed by this profile aid
    in scratching surface protections and, therefore,
    lead to electric contacts.

    A significant German manufacturer of illuminations


    has released this contact profile as a grounding
    assembly and adopted it in the company
    specifications. The example below shows a
    luminary body with fluorescent lamp ballast. These
    devices are grounded with an EJOT Spiralform®
    Screw featuring CONLOK® profile that also
    guarantees safety against torsion. As a result of
    this teething, grown gears are not required for this
    application leading to reduced part costs. While at
    the same time, facilitating the use of automated
    feeding devices and simplifying your assembly
    process.
