4. First-aid measures
Inhalation Move to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.
Skin contact Wash off with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Eye contact Rinse with water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Ingestion Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting without advice from poison control center.
5. Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media Water fog. Foam. Dry chemical powder. Dry chemicals. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable extinguishing media Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
Specific hazards arising from During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed.
the chemical
Special protective equipment Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
and precautions for firefighters
Fire-fighting Cool containers exposed to heat with water spray and remove container if no risk is involved.
equipment/ instructions
Specific methods Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials.
Biological limit values No biological exposure limits noted for the ingredient(s).
controls If applicable, use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to maintain airborne levels below
recommended exposure limits. If exposure limits have not been established, maintain airborne levels to an acceptable level.

JOINTBOND Ti® is made from a sufficiently refined petroleum extract that, in independent laboratory testing, contains no classified ingredients (>BDL) under EPA
8207C or listed as known or potential carcinogenic agents per ACGIH, NTP, OSHA, IARC or California Prop 65. Source titanium dioxide is a fumed material that are
small particles, but they are presented in small quantity and NOT in a form where they are airborne in JOINTBOND Ti®. The conditions where labeling under Prop 65
is required is when the TiO2 particles are airborne, respirable and not bound in a matrix. Additionally, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)
recognizes that “no significant exposure to primary particles in titanium dioxide is thought to occur during the use of products in which titanium dioxide is bound to
other materials, such as in paints.”
