B. REASON

This Service Bulletin consists in relocating aircraft identification placard from FR45 to the
exterior side of the fuselage, adjacent to the passenger/crew door, so that it can be seen
directly.

COMPLIANCE: Accomplishment of this Service Bulletin is optional.

C. DESCRIPTION

Accomplishment of this Service Bulletin consists in carrying out the following jobs:

(1) In zone 310, removal of the aircraft identification placard

(2) In zone 261, installation of aircraft identification placard

The technical content of this document is approved under the authority of the
DOA ref. EASA.21J.044.

3. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS

A. GENERAL

The following instructions assume that work will be accomplished when the aircraft is in
the appropriate maintenance configuration.

B. JOB SET-UP

(1) Open access door 851.

C. MODIFICATION

NOTE: Refer to SRM 51-25-01 for rivet installation.

(1) In zone 310, removal of the aircraft identification placard

(a) Remove all the parts listed in the following table.

Apply Alodine + Primer protection, Materials No. 13-002 and No. 16-001 (Refer to
SRM 51-35-00).

(2) In zone 261, installation of aircraft identification placard

(a) Install all the parts listed in the following table. Carefully follow the specific
instruction(s) detailed after the table.

Specific instruction(s):

- Install the aircraft identification placard item 1 in one of the two proposed
areas, depending on the external livery.

- In accordance with placard item 1, match, drill and deburr 2 diameter 3.2 mm
(0.125 in) holes.

- Install placard and rivets, with an interlay of PR1771B, Material No. 09-016C
(Refer to SRM 51-35-00).

D. TESTS

None.

E. CLOSE-UP

(1) Make certain that working area is clean.

(2) Close access door 851.
