1. Candidates must carry and wear own mask at all times while at the Test Centre.
2. Candidates must carry a duly filled-in self declaration form. The format is available on
a. Candidate's dashboard
b. In the announcement section on NISM homepage
3. Candidates reporting late will NOT be permitted to attend the examination.
4. Candidates should report to the Test Centre 30 minutes prior to the designated slot
start time of his/her
examination.
5. Candidate/s appearing NISM Examinations shall be compulsorily required to carry
following documents at the
Test Centre
a. Printout of Admit Card
b. Any one of the following Photo Identity proofs in original at the
Test Centre :
a. PAN Card
b. Aadhar Card
c. Driving License
d. Passport
6. In absence of Admit Card, Original Photo Identity proof/s mentioned above candidate/s
shall not be permitted
to appear for NISM Certification Examination/s.
7. In case, photograph uploaded by candidates during registration is improper, candidates
may be rejected entry
to the Test Area. No reschedulement would be provided under
such circumstances.
8. Candidates will not be permitted to carry any personal belongings including but
not limited to books, papers,
mobile phones, tablet PCs, cameras, other gadgets
etc. during the examination. Candidates will be allowed to
carry only pen/pencil
and calculator inside the Test Area.
9. Wherever required, Test Centres' workstations are equipped with Microsoft Excel
or Open Office calc.
Candidates are requested to be well versed with either of the
software.
10. Any candidate found resorting to Unfair Means and/or Cheating and/or Forgery and/or
Impersonation shall be
disqualified and appropriate action may be initiated by NISM
as per NISM Policy on Unfair Means, Cheating,
Forgery, Impersonation, etc.
11. All physical papers including this Admit Card, rough sheets, etc. will be retained
by the invigilator at the Test
Centre.
12. Study Material and Certificate will be issued by NISM in soft copy format only and
can be downloaded by
logging to https://certifications.nism.ac.in/
13. Certificate will be issued to successful candidates within a period of 15 working
days, as per name appearing
in the Income Tax PAN Database, after verification.
14. Disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing, or facilitating transmission,
theft and storage of the
contents of the Question bank/corresponding answers of
NISM Certification examination or any information
therein in whole or part thereof
in any form or by any means, verbal or written (e.g.: smuggling rough sheet out
of examination hall), electronically or mechanically for any purpose is unlawful
and would attract prosecution.
1. NISM remote proctored exam can be attempted by candidates from their own location such as home or office
(instead of visiting a physical test center). To undertake Remote proctored exams candidates need to have a
Windows OS based laptop/ Desktop with stable internet connectivity, Webcam and a Microphone.
2. Mandatory System Requirement for NISM Remote Proctored Exam
a. Internet Speed:
For webcam proctored test - Minimum download Speed => 512 kbps
Minimum upload Speed =>512 kbps
b. Operating System:
MSB will run only on Windows OS (Version 7 and above)
Will support a minimum 4.5.1. - .Net framework
c. Memory:
65 MB permanent free space on the default hard drive

3. Candidates will receive an email 24 hours before his/her selected date and time slot. The email will carry
instructions and examination link.
4. NISM Remote proctored exams are conducted in online mode where candidate s will be monitored virtually
online by a live proctor. Kindly ensure to have a working webcam and microphone on your computer system.
Each participant should abide by rules and regulations shared.
5. All candidates will receive a test invitation with the link to START TEST and check SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY in a
separate email from NISM. In case email is not received Candidates must check spam or junk folder.
6. Once you start the exam, the designated proctor will monitor your progress of the test and the activities on
your laptop screen in real-time. In the event that the proctor believes that you have done some suspicious
activity, the proctor may issue a warning and pause your exam and ask you to provide additional information
such as asking you to provide a 360-degree view of the exam surroundings.
7. The proctor can also terminate your examination if the instructions are not adhered to, you may or may not be
provided with warning/s before your exam is terminated.

9. Since these examinations are remotely proctored certificates will be issued to candidates based on marks
scored in the examination and Proctor report.
Do’s
1. Test all your gadgets and network connection as suggested in the guidelines before the exam starts. Ensure
that your Laptop is charged.
2. Run the 'compatibility check' before taking the test.
3. You must ensure to sit in a quiet place in a well‐lit room, with proper lighting on your face. Ensure that the web
camera is enabled and switched on with enough light for visibility. The light source should be preferably above
you and under no circumstances light source be behind you.
4. Uninstall any third party software installed on the system for webcam before starting the test
5. Keep your Government ID proof (either of PAN card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport) ready to show
when prompted for.
6. Please only TYPE your details in the registration form and do not copy-paste. Please use only your registered
email ID for logging into the exam.Keep a check on your proctor chat window. Proctors try to reach you only for
important messages.
Dont's
1. Do not refer to any other material or do not browse the internet to find the solution. Your screen details will get
captured from the backend for monitoring and review.
2. During the exam do not access your mobile phones, earphone, calculator or any other electronic device during
the exam
3. During the exam Monitoring will be real-time, and hence your exam may get terminated if unfair practice is
followed.
4. Please note that the system will detect suspicious activities (additional people in the room, using mobile
phones/calculators/books, candidate absence and other suspicious movement etc.), and report such activities
to the authorities.
5. There should be no one around you or talking to you while you are giving the exam.
6. Please ensure that there are no loud noises or disturbance of any kind. Do not read the questions aloud.
7. Bio breaks are not allowed during the exam.
Important Note: “During the examination; cases of malpractice, copying and impersonation
etc. occurring are duly booked and reported to authorities and it would enforce to take
appropriate action or termination of the respective exam”
