The University of Bedfordshire Business School is at the forefront of expanding opportunity and access in

Following significant growth we are seeking to make further appointments to enhance our portfolio in
strategy and management education and to help drive our ambitious programme of strategic change. We
are now seeking to recruit to the post of Senior Tutor in Management with the intention of the successful
candidate plays a key role working with apprentices across our provision in capacity of Apprenticeship
Coordinator alongside teaching on a range of programmes.
Within the Department of Strategy and Management you will be joining the team responsible for a diverse
international portfolio of courses delivered from our own campuses and partner campuses. The
department is home to our apprenticeship provision which has significant growth plans. The department
hosts our thriving MBA portfolio, specialist postgraduate courses a comprehensive portfolio of business
and management undergraduate courses including foundation and of course our apprenticeship provision.
A core focus within all our courses is dedicated to challenging students with real-world business issues.
Within the department we are proud of our corporate links and work closely with the University Innovation
and Enterprise team working with a range of organisations both as academic consultants and leading
student initiatives such as placements, internships and consultancy projects.
We welcome applications from individuals with experience of teaching in the areas of business and
management and especially those with a background in executive education and/or apprenticeships. Our
project management apprenticeships are accredited by APM and knowledge of the professional body
would be helpful. Experience of engagement with external partners and delivering HE provision across a
distributed campus would be advantageous. You will enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and will
be open to taking the lead in ensuring units are delivered equitably to diverse range of globally located
students. An interest in innovative pedagogy, willingness to work with varied cohorts of students across a
range of qualification levels, the ability to manage units and a commitment to your own personal
development within your subject field are key qualities we look for in our team.
For the Senior Tutor role professional experience is required along with course management and
curriculum design experience.
