Abstract
Plant vs Undead (PVU) is a multiplayer tower defense game, where your plants are also your real asset.
The goal is to combine the phenomenal Plants vs Zombies with new blockchain technology – NFTs.
Each plant is unique. Each plant is equally accessible to everyone through growing Seeds. Each plant can
be buy/sell in marketplace. In the process, the “game” part is our priority. Free-to-play gardeners are
able to play and earn real asset. There is no initial-investment barrier in PVU.
PVU will erase the gap between normal games and NFT games. It’s easy to start playing.
Mobile device is our main focus. PVU can be played anywhere, at anytime, as long as you are with your
mobiles.
It’s the combination between the love for this genre and the idea of real ownership over something you
love in-game.

Introducing Plant vs Undead

Game Overview
PVU is set in a world called Planet Plants. It was once a harmonious place for animals and plants. Then a
disease, comes from meteors, turns animals into Undead. But, it also gives hope, Seeds grow into special
plants. The new generation inherited nature elements and special traits. They become fighters and
soldiers, all to protect the home of Mother Trees.
Everyone has equal chance at getting plants. A seed can grow into any plant from the most common to
the rarest one.
For free to play, each player has 1 mother tree and 6 basic plants (these plants are not NFTs). These
plants are usable in all game modes. In-game token can be earned and used to buy seeds/plants on the
marketplace.

Gameplay and gamemode

Core gameplay

- Each round, a player is allowed to bring 1 mother tree and 8 unique plants.
- Plant’s position is important since it provide synergy. For example, 3 adjacent fire plants give
ignite to the plants’ attack. The same goes for other elements.

- Killing undead gives energy, which can be used to upgrade or relocate the plants.
Gamemode
For multiplayer, beside defending, players can summon Undead or using skills to gain advantages. The
one who last longer wins the match.
For singleplayer, we start off with Endless survival mode.

Market and Target audience

Plant vs Undead is more like a global mobile game. It’s for everyone. No prior knowledge about
cryptocurrencies is needed. We learn from successful games such as PvZ, Baloons TD. Including target
audiences, tower defense PvP category, competitive gameplay. Understanding the importance of what
NFTs game provide: real ownership, play to earn real value, implementation of marketplace for NFTs.

Target audience
Players: mostly fan of the PvZ genre. Young male and female under 35 with a mobile device.
Collectors/Investors: the value/uniqueness of the plants is protected. Every changes or new
Seeds Offering system will be discuss with the community before apply into the game.

Unique selling point

• The market is now flooded with pet-oriented NFT game. Plants/ Mother Trees is a new concept
in Blockchain gaming. However, it doesn’t carry the “new-idea” risk. Since Plants vs Zombies or
Stardew Valley have proven to be a success, PVU offer 2 new-but-not-new aspects: Tower
defense, Farmer Simulation.
• The majority of NFTs game are focusing on the blockchain aspect. Games are more like an
investment. This creates big barrier for free-to-play users.
• Centering in-game token as its own currency. Plants and Seeds can be bought with PVU token.
• Play-to-earn is available for everyone.

• Improve marketplace: avoiding high fee, smooth transaction process. PVU token is everything
you need in our marketplace.
• The community owns the game: Every changes, every game mode, features have to be
approved by the representatives (selected by the players).

Competition
There is no NFTs game with the same idea we have. But we do aware that the upcoming trend is
enormous. So, it’s important that we must move fast while keeping high quality of the game. Learn
more in our Roadmap.

Blockchain Feature
Game currency, PVU token

• PVU token is the native currency in the game, as well as mirrored as an BSC token. It allows
token holders to play, invest and also be part of the game. There is a fixed total of 300 million
PVU.
• Utilities of the token:

1. In-game currency: PVU could be used in the marketplace for purchasing Seeds and Plants.

2. Social feature: send PVU tokens in the chats with friends; exchange NFT assets

3. Play to earn: Everyone can take part in all gamemodes. Each mode rewards PVU differently:

Survival Mode: Each Undead Wave has a percentage to drop PVU.

Multiplayer mode: 1v1, 2v2 gameplay is in discussion. Players are defending with plants
and attacking with Undeads at the same time. Winner in a match got rewards in token. High
placed players in leaderboard also earn bigger rewards per season.

BSC Compatibility
All Token and NFTs of Plant vs Undead will be stored on BSC.

Game Asset
Collectibles and scarcity
One of the most important elements of NFT game is rarity. We
want to maintain this, but we also want to have room for new
updates/expands in the future. So we come up with the idea of
usage:
• Each plant has a fixed number of usages for modes. When this
number reach 0, the plant can’t be used in that mode again.
However, that plant can still be used in other modes or new modes
in the future.
• With this mechanism, new plants can be added to the pool =>
New unique plants can be found each Seeds Offering Period. Players
can always try fun and new things.

Marketplace
Players can buy/sell/lend/borrow their plants. All of this happens in our internal system to
reduce the fee to as low as 2%.

Token sales and allocation:

- Team and Advisor: 100% team’s token is locked for 6 months and release gradually 5% each
month. Team’s token will be fully distributed 25 months after ICO. This ensures team
commitment and encourages long-term goals.

- Token sale: PVU tokens are offered in three phases (Private sale, Presale, IDO). An
investment larger than 500$ must follow our locked & release method. This means these
tokens are treated the same way as Team and Advisor’s tokens.
- Community & Marketing: for various ecosystem-building initiatives, including marketing,
bounties, incentive programs, and more.
- Platform Reward: will be used to incentivize those players who earn tokens by participating
in competitions and other activities in the game. This design is to encourage user
participation in the game and to maintain traction.
- Reserve: for staking rewards. Paying interest for holding PVU Tokens
- Ecosystem: Game development

Use of funds:
• 60% Development expenses
• 40% liquidity.
