    12th June 2021

    Plantation by CRPF

    B/149 CRPF, Changlang planted nearly one hundred numbers


    of saplings in the new campus of VKV Changlang to celebrate
    World Environment day. The armies reached the new campus
    at 9:00 a.m. in the morning and started planting with great
    enthusiasm.

    21st June 2021

    International Yoga Day

    VKV Changlang observed International Yoga Day with great effort. There were 111 participants which include
    Students and their family members. They participated by doing Surya Namaskar and performed ashanas in
    their own house and sharing the recorded videos to the School Whatsapp group.

    1st July 2021

    Staff Meeting

    Staff meeting was conducted to discuss on the upcoming online classes


    and activities to be done for the new session. All the academics and
    non-academic plans were discussed. Duties and responsibilities were
    illustrated and distributed among all the staff.

    4th July 2021

    Swamiji Vivekananda Mahasamadhi


    Swamiji’s Mahasamadhi was observed solely in the school. Eight
    teachers along with a student attended the program. The program was
    started with Ekya mantra, and then Sri Nilamoni Upadhyay Sir gave a
    wonderful speech on various contributions and inspiring incidents of
    Swami Vivekananda. Teachers sang bhajan and offered flowers to the
    portrait of Swamiji.

    5th July 2021

    Varsharambha

    Varsharambha puja was observed on 5th of July, Monday. Eight


    teachers, two Balsevikas and ten students of Class VII and VIII
    participated in the puja. Sri. Gokaran Tiwari sir took the lead and
    chanted mantras. Bhajan was sung by all the members and the
    program was wound up with Kendra Prarthana. Then ‘prasad’ was
    distributed to all.

    6th July 2021

    Online Class

    The school started conducting online classes from 6 th of July.


    Teachers conduct live classes through Google meet app and make
    PPT, worksheet, teaching notes, videos, Xrecorder, etc. for their
    teaching learning materials; and these materials were sent
    through Whatsapp.

    14th July 2021

    Aparna Didi’s Visit

    Man. Aparna Didi, Secretary, VKVAPT visited Changlang on 14 th of July. She reached the school campus at
    9:30 a.m. and directly headed to look over the new site of VKV Changlang along with Sri Pullang Ngemu,
    Executive Engineer, PWD Changlang. She suggested many essential requirements for the new school building.
    Then, she had a small meeting with the staff advising on the academic and non-academic activities of the
    school. She throws a positive vibe by singing a patriotic song and telling a charming story about “The horse
    stuck in the mire”.

    23rd July 2021


    Guru Poornima

    VKV Changlang celebrated Guru Poornima purely to accentuate the importance of ‘Guru’. Ten staff
    along with Sri W.Techi sir, Nagar Pramukh, VK Arunjyoti participated in the program. Sri Ananta Kumar
    Sarmah sir, the most experienced teacher presented a wonderful speech on the essence of Guru Poornima
    and why we celebrate it. All the teachers read the letter sent by Man. Nibedita didi, Vice President of
    Vivekananda Kendra which was about the significance and importance behind the celebration of Guru
    Poornima. Guru Bhajan was sung by the teachers and lastly, Sri. W. Techi sir shared his point of view on the
    value of “Guru”. Bhajan Sandhya was conducted in the evening through Googlemeet and twenty-four
    members attended the program.
