“Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice” - Anton

Chekhov
Class 12 students worked together as a team and presented a melange
of thoughts, ideas, and expressions in their Class Assembly
Presentation. The students wanted to enrich the audience with many
activities but weren't able to put everything under one topic, so they just
went on with the flow with all the entertainment that was planned. The
assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer which was believed to
provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls. It was followed by a
new word , thought for the day and news . To do something unique the
students recited Aathichudi instead of Thirukural. The students provided
platform for the young minds to boost their confidence level by
conducting many activities like brain teasers and tongue twisters. The
students played some famous clips and asked questions based on that.
The audience were also given a chance to express their favourite part.
This assembly was undoubtedly a result of the immense efforts put
together by students and their teachers. It was once again proved that
when students and teachers work together they surely create
masterpieces.
Masters to create more masterpieces!!!
SECONDARY ASSEMBLY REPORT.

The assembly was conducted by A-level, despite the usual format of a

typical assembly. The students of A - level thought outside the box to
kick off the assembly through a video which ultimately led to the topic
of their assembly " FIRST AID ". September 10 is celebrated as World First
Aid Day to pay tribute to all the lives that have been saved so far
through the basic knowledge of first aid. To create and feed awareness
to the audience the students of a level organized a survey to pull out
how many of the students of TGWS really had an idea about first aid,
the result showed only 9% were actually able to help someone in
desperate need. This was followed by an amazing demonstration of
certain basic first aids which conveyed the required knowledge to the
audience. The assembly was brought to a final conclusion by our
beloved HOS with his magical and inspiring words. First Aid is a form of
showcasing humanity in the best way possible in the hour of need and
emergency. It is the duty of the people to help someone while they
are in need whether it's a small incident or a big one.

FREEDOM
The word freedom has many definitions. What is freedom in your point
of view?
According to the dictionary, freedom is the right or ability to do or say
what one wants to. To me however, it means completely different.
We, people have interpreted it in many ways in the past.Whether the
freedom struggle for our country, or for small causes within ourselves,
freedom has always been positively influential. Freedom according to
me isn’t being free to do or say everything I choose to. It is in fact the
ability to be true to myself. As a teenager I think it is the most
necessary and the most difficult task for anyone alive. We are just full
of self doubts and self judgments that we almost always forget what
and who we actually are. I’ve always tried my best to be honest with
myself and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how easy it feels after a
while. I’d rather like to go to bed for the rest of my life without a lead
weight on my heart being dishonest with myself.
“Freedom is like oxygen to the starving soul and fire to the burning
passion inside ourselves.”

Newton's craddle

This is newton’s cradle

which was designed to
understand Physics,
vibration, and gravity.

Vibration:
The machine newton’s cradle is working mainly because of vibration
helps it . when a ball is lifted and left the ball touch it with the force
applied the vibration starts the vibration travels of the three balls and at
the last the last ball moves and the process repeats again and again.
Gravity:
In newton’s cradle gravity also take a main place as vibration it helps
the balls to fall with a nice amount of force needed to be applied.
Force:
Force helps shortly in Newton’s cradle when any one lifts and pushes it
down only till this force is needed.
Example formula
G + V + F = NCs
G= Gravity
V=Vibration
F=Force
NCs=Newton’s Cradle

PARENT TALK

TGWS is setting new benchmarks for providing holistic education to

students.

I chose this school for my daughter S.M. Thaaruni during the year 2010
with an expectation of giving her the best possible education as well as
exposure to extra-curricular activities.

We are very happy that our daughter is in the hands of a highly

Eminent, Skilled and Professional team of teachers and administrators.

I have witnessed the all-round development in Personality, Language,

Reasoning, Social Behaviour and Humanity services of my child. I also
noticed that her confidence has improved significantly.

The school management is always open to suggestions and

comments from parents. The views of parents are always taken in the
right spirit and the management and the teachers always strive to
honour the good suggestions.

My daughter is pursuing her final year of schooling. I would like to

express my heartfelt gratitude to all the Teachers, Faculty, Staff and
Management of TGWS. They have been the tower of strength and
support to my daughter, as well as to all the students.

I hope and wish, in the coming days, TGWS will flourish further and
touch the peak of excellence in the field of education.

It’s a Privilege to get educated in TGWS.

SOLO TRAVELLING

Life is short, and the world is wide.

It’s not what you look at that matters.
It’s what you see.

When I think about Travelling I have a question whether it's only with
friends or family? Well, the answer goes for a big ‘No’. A Person who
loves travelling doesn’t have to necessarily carry one with him/her.
There’s something called solo travelling wherein you feel yourself
analysing and vibing only with your mind and nature. I have been
travelling alone to many places for years; I have learnt a lot of things
during my voyages. Over a period of time, I learnt about different
cultures and languages. These journeys also taught me how to make
the right decisions. During travelling, you may meet many unfamiliar
personalities, and who knows some of them may turn out to become
your best friends. I have a few like that and we keep a healthy
relationship. My favourite quote while I am travelling is “If not now, then
when”. Being a peripatetic, finance, time, weather etc. seldom matter.
Once stepping out of home, every other thing seems to be just a factor
but knocking them out and going ahead with your travel plan is a great
experience which gives you immense confidence and good problem-
solving skills.

Learn to adjust no matter how worse the situations are!!! Come out of
your comfort zone and feel nature, Solo.....

Gute Reise!!!
