Many people have asked us about The Angels Network, over the years. Questions like what
exactly is it that we do; which homes do we support; what do we do for them; how can people
contribute and help; where can items be donated? are often asked.
The essence of The Angels Network can be best summarized, as an all-inclusive initiative
started by a few of us with a simple wish – to work collectively to help the lesser privileged in
whatever way we can. We are not a registered NGO. We function as a connect between homes
or organizations that need help, and people who are looking to get involved, donate and
contribute to causes they can be sure of. Our endeavour is to present fun and creative ways
to raise money as well as to offer special experiences to the kids and homes we support. The
journey, as a bonus, is a lot of fun and this ability to make a significant difference in society,
gives us pure joy, satiating our souls.
Being 100% transparent, we at The Angels Network do not ask for money, instead, we find
creative, fun and out-of-the-box ways to raise funds, inspiring others to Pay it Forward. We
believe in empowering people with the idea that everyone has something of value to give, and
it is possible to do so, with their existing set of skills and resources.
In the 9 years since we started, we have evolved into a link between you and those less
fortunate who need help. The homes/charitable causes which we support and have built
relationships with are mentioned below.
For these homes, we collect food items like rice, dals, wheat flour, cooking oil, salt, sugar, rusk
packets, juices, biscuits, and other items that can be used in daily cooking. We also collect
toiletries like bathing soap, toothpaste, washing powder, shampoo, talcum powder, hair oil,
disinfectants, sanitary pads and other items for daily use. Old toys, books, clothes, household
items, cooking utensils, appliances, furniture and anything else you feel that could be utilized
in a home are also deeply appreciated.
